Thai food and pizza hit the elusive g-spot of cuisine: even when it's bad it's still good. Not that the Tom Kah ($9.95) @plumeriavegetarian is bad—it's rather a basic interpretation of this sweet and sour coconut milk soup. The subtle soup offers few high or low notes, just hints of kaffir leaves and lemongrass—and like most dishes at Plumeria, it would take dragging me into the kitchen to see with my own eyes to believe there are chilies in any of the food.
Still, this light broth floating with zucchini, cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, and tofu is pleasant enough, warming my belly as we roll in and out of the pineapple express.

We are going to help educate you about your body so you understand what it needs.
❓ Do you want to lose 10 pounds in a week just to gain 15 to 20 pounds back the following? My guess is probably not. Secondly, all the things you put your body through to achieve that wrecks havoc on your metabolism which continues to make it harder and harder to lose weight safely.
