✨week 1 -1.5lbs ✨ won’t lie I was absolutely gutted when I got on those scales and seen this number and I did have a little cry! Dramatic me over and I’ve come to realise that this is still a good loss and any loss is a loss and I am stepping in the right direction to a healthier happier me! I am always the first to tell people not to compare to others and at first I was so gutted as you see so many amazing losses but everyone of us is a different person on a different journey! There’s mention that the gym can affect losses but I am still going to continue the gym as I enjoy it and it keeps me on track physically and mentally! I have always been slow at losses and my biggest loss has only ever been 4lb at my very very first weigh in back in 2014! I am ready to smash this journey and not think negative over a loss! Food shop done and ready for week 2 🙌🏼 .

Nagyon jó lett. Egy minimális tejföl van csak a tetején. Amúgy csak savanyú káposzta és darált hús pörköltnek elkészítve. Fűszernek pedig só, bors és őrölt kömény. 😊
It won’t always FEEL good & you won’t see results right away but you have to learn to SEE a thing before you actually SEE it aka have FAITH! Trust the process!!!! It doesn’t FEEL good drinking over a gallon of water a day but I know that it’s good for me & I see the results in my body so I do it! It doesn’t feel good waking up so early but I know that life could happen & I might not make it in the afternoon so I get up & I’m seeing the results from that sacrifice as well! I seem to be in a love/hate relationship with my current program... I love that it’s 20 minutes, but hate that it’s pure cardio.
I loved the workout yesterday, but hated the one today.
I love that it kicks my booty, but hate that I sweat too much to use dry shampoo.
I love that I even on my busiest days I have time to get it in, I hate that on my busiest days I STILL have time to get it in. 😜 @shaunt#gritandgrace

COUNTING 🔢 I caught Mr. J counting his fingers. I’m not sure if he truly grasps the concept of counting or he is just reciting, since he can identify and name numbers 1 to 10. According to experts, Kids his age don't actually understand yet, and can't identify the quantities they're naming. Made this simple recycled activity to introduce number quantities.
Instead of doing a standing straight bar pull down, I decided to try it kneeling. I really felt the activation in my lats doing it this way. I’m all about switching things up this year so I don’t get bored!
I have wanted to do this for so long now!!!! Today I finally went & grabbed a pair of jeans in the size I wore just 11 months ago, a 20, & tried them on. I fit both of my legs in one leg!!! (swipe👈🏼 to see) I now fit comfortably I to a SIZE 4 😱😱😱😱😱😱 Shocked doesn’t begin to describe how I felt taking these pictures. I needed a win after a rough couple of days (not weight loss wise, just life wise) & this really lifted my spirits. I’m also down to 148.2!! Just shy of 8 pounds away from my goal weight!!!!!! #jens100poundjourney
Anybody struggle with obsessing over the number on the scale?? I don’t even keep a scale in my house because if I did I would obsess over every little thing I eat & weigh myself 5 times a day enough though I know logically it’s not necessary. Really been working on just working out, eating healthy & what not without needing to weigh myself all the time needing to know if I’m dropping weight. Instead I’ve told myself that I’ll notice my progress in my photos or by being able to wear a pair of jeans that use to be too tight. Always remember you don’t need to put your self love & mental health in jeopardy in order to get healthy & lose weight. 💕 dm me if you have other suggestions or words of wisdom on this issue! 💕
