I have many people ask me regularly how my skin has transformed over the past two years and how it has held up well through pregnancy and the crazy hormones that follow. The key, for me, has been finding an all-natural skincare line that actually works. The month I said goodbye to harsh chemicals in my skincare, I saw a major change. I have 10 sample packs for anyone who wants to give this amazing regimen a try. DM me to claim yours! #skincare#vegan#natural#results
sunday sundae anyone? 🍨
hop on over to @mildredsrestaurants and let out your inner child with the cookie dough sundae, complete with ice cream, a cookie in its cooked (rather than dough) form, and some chocolate sauce for good measure 🍪

How about instead of focusing on building a wall we focus on a way bigger and more important issue at hand...🤔 45% of methane emissions aka the primary driver of climate change comes from “livestock” aka innocent animals being bred and killed in the animal agriculture industry. In order to accommodate 70 BILLION animals raised annually for human consumption, a third of the planets ice-free land, as well as nearly sixteen percent of global freshwater is devoted to growing animals. Not to mention that a third of worlds grain production is used to feed these animals instead of the millions of people starving worldwide. We can make huge changes right now for the future of our planet by simply using the principle of supply and demand. Adopting a plant-based diet could cut our emissions by HALF! So next time you’re in the grocery store think about what you’re consuming and how it is contributing to the destruction of our home. Instead of reaching for the meat and dairy simply grab the endless amounts of non-dairy milks and meatless alternatives 🌱 All of this political bullshit won’t matter anymore when we destroy our planet completely and go extinct 🌎
Fast food: rice noodles, beans and veg tossed in a peanut satay sauce we picked up at @veganz in Berlin 🍜
I’ve tried a few of their canned sauces and they’re all on point, even for a canned sauce hater such as myself 🤷🏻♀️

MASSIVE RESCUE 🚨 468 birds. We need help NOW. Link in bio. "It was exactly as bad as the worst videos I’ve ever seen. In the barn there was everything. Blindness, watery eyes, huge gashes down to bones already necrotic, birds dying, dark coloration and breathing issues, lots of decomposing bodies, lots of cannibalization. " —Maddie Cartwright, rescuer
When the call came in, the numbers were overwhelming: tens of thousands of suffering baby birds. Within 36 hours, hundreds of birds were rescued. We had no space for them at the time, but couldn't turn them away.
A "free-range" and "humane" farm went bankrupt with 40,000 birds still in their care, so the poor birds have been starving. The farm resorted to killing them by hand — while we were there rescuing — to put them out of their misery.
It was worse than you could imagine. Dead bodies littered the floor. Some flattened from being trampled, others were being torn apart by birds who were forced into cannibalism to survive. Dismembered body parts were everywhere.
The poor babies had gashes, bones sticking out, and many sat there helplessly, unable to get up. The heat had been turned off, so hypothermia also started taking lives.
A team of dedicated individuals from across the country came together overnight, and has been working around the clock to rescue and triage survivors, find safe placements, and arrange transport to the homes that are graciously opening their doors to these baby birds.
Over 400 babies are now safe, receiving emergency care at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary, and hitting the road. The team is working 16-hour shifts and through the night to provide critical care.
We desperately need funds to:
1. Pay for vet bills for the most critical babies, including protruding bones, compound fractures, deep wounds, anemia, severe emaciation, and more
2. Cover emergency triage care
3. Transport the birds to their new homes throughout the country
Thank you to those giving homes to these birds, individuals who coordinated and partook in this rescue, those transporting, and everyone supporting. This is truly a collaborative, team effort.

sal e pimenta do reino
cebola e alho picados

Tofu Wontons with Yellow Curry Broth 🍲
Yellow Curry Broth
1 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
1 tablespoon minced ginger (about a 1-inch piece of ginger)
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons yellow curry powder (mild spice)
6 cups vegetable broth*
1/2 teaspoon salt, add more if necessary
3/4 cup (175ml) full-fat coconut milk (can sub with low-fat coconut milk)
about 45 to 50 square dumpling wrappers
1 package of firm tofu (I used a 14-ounce package)
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable or olive oil
2 tablespoons minced ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 cups shredded green cabbage (ensure they are no longer than 1-inch pieces)
1 large carrot, grated (about 1 1/4 cups)
pinch of salt
4 scallions, sliced
black sesame seeds
Prepare the Broth: I like preparing the curry broth before making the dumplings because this allows more time for the flavors of the broth to develop.
Heat the 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot. Add the minced ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the curry powder and stir to coat the spices.
Add the vegetable broth and 1/2 teaspoon salt, cover the pot, and bring the broth to boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and swirl in the coconut milk. Let the broth simmer for about 10 minutes, covered. Turn off the heat and let the broth sit on the stove, covered, as you make the dumplings.
Make the Dumplings
Drain the tofu and wrap the tofu around a layer of paper towels. Press the tofu by placing the tofu block on a plate and weighing it down with a stack of plates. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the towels and cut the tofu into small 1/4-inch cubes.
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Add the minced ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the cabbage, carrots, and a pinch of salt to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer the tofu and scallions to the pan and add another pinch of salt. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Taste the filling. You want the the filling to be a smidgen saltier than you would normally prefer. The wonton wrappers will mellow out the saltiness of the filling.

😍 Fudgy Flourless Brownies! 📷 by @elavegan 🚨🚨Recipe: Dry ingredients:
3/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar (150 g)
3/4 cup ground almonds (90 g)
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp cocoa powder (60 g)
2 tbsp ground flax seeds or ground chia seeds
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)
Two 15 oz cans chickpeas drained and rinsed (about 500 g)
1/2 cup plant-based milk (120 ml)
1/3 cup nut butter or seed butter of choice (80 g)
1/2 banana or 1/4 cup applesauce (60 g)
2 tsp vanilla extract
sweet potato frosting (optional)
Blend the chickpeas with all wet ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
Add all dry ingredients (except the chocolate chips) to the food processor and blend again until the mixture is combined.
Line a pan with parchment paper or grease it with vegan butter or coconut oil and spoon the batter into it. @elavegan baking dish measures 9"x6" (23 x 15 cm).
Bake in the oven at 355 degrees F (180 degrees C) for about 40 minutes (it can take longer or shorter, depending on your oven and the size of your baking dish) or until a toothpick comes out almost clean (can still be sticky but not wet). Test after 35 minutes with a toothpick. Don't overcook the brownies! Let them cool completely. They'll still be soft at first but firm up once cooled down. They taste best on the 2nd or 3rd day!
