First off let me say, it’s hard to put yourself out there for the world to see and judge but here I am!! I always grew up thinking “I’m meant to be over weight, it’s hereditary!” Let me just say, you are not meant to be anything except extraordinary!! Life takes us on journeys that we either conquer or we let conquer us! My weight will not conquer me! My weight we not define me! I’ve worked hard, HARD!!! For this! The hours upon hours I’m put into my “home gym” that I call the sweat room/living room! I’ve pushed myself to a point that I never thought possible! De dag begonnen met een heerlijke uitslaapsessie. Helaas de rest van de dag besteden aan studeren en hopen dat ik ergens tussenin nog een workout erin kan gooien 😌
The gym bug is real!
When I was in last trimester of pregnancy, and the first few months of motherhood I honestly would never imagine myself having the same confidence, strength and time to ever be the same person I used to be in the gym!
Fast forward 6 months and here I am! I have been to the gym everyday this week, by hook or by crook I have made it happen. And I am loving it! My body feels different but my drive is stronger. I grew a baby for frik sakes! I can do anything! This body is powerful!
To all you Mumma’s out there who aren’t happy with how you feel, but don’t know how to make the change - start small. A walk, a home work out, a jog... my advice would be seek some professional advice. If you can’t afford it, read up on forums. It might seem hard, but it’s worth it!
I have more energy to spend with Lola, I’m happier in myself, my confidence is coming back and I feel like I could take on the world (and I probably could haha!) It might be hard to start, but in the long run it’ll be totally worth it! You’ve got it Mumma 😘
Thought I would attempt to do the 10 year transformation and in join the fun.
Although these two look very happy on the outside they are two very different people. With both my partner and former husband being DJs , the last twenty years of my life have been spent in clubs, total party girl dancing my socks off. I can certainly say that I lived. In the last eight years I gained a load of weight through working and eating on the go and I have spent the last three years losing it.
What have I achieved?
Swapped night clubs for yoga
Swapped socialising for reading books
Swapped drinking alcohol with drinking smoothies
Swapped fast food for good quality food
Swapped sugar and refined carbs for a dairy and yeast free diet Swapped working 90 hours a week for working part time
Swapped smoking cigarettes with daily meditation Swapped trying to heal others with trying to heal myself
Swapped laying on the sofa all weekend recovering for spending quality time with my children.
Swapped late nights for early mornings.
Lessons learned - never stop working on yourself your mind, body and soul as this is how you heal, grow and evolve into a better version of yourself, how have you evolved? И конечно же мой интерес , ну мол попробую , посмотрим , у всех получается и чем я хуже ... ⚡С начала подготовки , мне пришлось изучить тонны информации о питании , пришлось изменить привычный подход к тренингу
Было трудно !
Я постоянно срывался по диете , позволял себе больше чем можно и какой итог ?
Я неуспевал высохнуть и пришлось прибегать к экстремальным мерам ... я сел на безуглеводную диету почти на целый месяц !
И это была раковая ошибка
Жир быстрее убегать не стал , но мои силы полностью покинули меня ... тренеровки были плохими , меня хватало минут на 30 тренинга и все
Сил небыло буквально ни на что , но я продолжал так как пути назад уже небыло - я сказал что выступлю - значит выступлю
Конечно меня поддерживала моя девушка и за это спасибо ⚡Итог ? - итог какое то 10 место ... нечего не получил , кроме охеренного опыта и тонны мотивации ... В следующий раз я пересмотрел свой подход к делу и результат был иным , но об этом позже

HAMS TO THE RESCUE 🐖🐽
It was a struggle today. I haven't been sleeping well so my usual energy and enthusiasm was nowhere to be seen. I knew though that i'd feel worse if I didn't do something. Gym is my default when i'm stressed or trying to figure something out, it's my time out just for me.
I managed to do a hammies workout, it wasn't fabulous and I didn't break any PBs but I got it done. I felt like stopping several times, I was sore and my thoughts were working against me, but thankfully my stubborn nature won.
A lot of peeps comment on how i'm always smiling, that's just me. I don't know any other way, even when times are tough. Training isn't always easy and life can put hurdles in the way. Sometimes we just have to dig deep to find the drive, the oomph to keep going.
And i'm glad I did, because I got a session done then went for a swim and feel so much better. That's another day I didn't give up and that's something to smile at 😊😁.
Didn’t think I’d join in on this whole #10yearchallenge thing but here we are praising the lord for puberty and weight training 🤣 (tbh this is a lie cus this is 8.5 ish years- best I could do for a full length photo🤷♀️)
Not sure why I thought it was acceptable for my bra to be sticking out but at least my tan was half decent 😂😂!
I feel like you can tell in an odd way how much I have changed internally here rather than the obvious external changes. I remember back then being very weak minded and unsure of myself in every way. Needless to say, though i’m still not fully appreciative of how far I have come (capricorn life) I can appreciate what i’ve been through to get here☺️

Same fella, just different bodies😅 going from 34 stone, down to around 29 stone then down to target weigh of high end 15 stone🙌🏻 I’m currently a stone out of target, but I’m ready to get myself back and looking forward to Saturdays weigh in💝
Anything is truly possible in this world, you just have to want it enough. I will try my absolute HARDEST to help every single one of you on your journeys, but ultimately you have to do this for you, which you can all do! So let’s continue to rally around each other, and support each-other! We CAN and WILL do this❤️🥰
It’s not as simple as 1) do it the right way or 2) do it the wrong way. Between these two photos happened much of both, it always has and still does. Life is about action and then reacting to that, falling and learning. Usually there is no straight lines to achievements/success and some of the given obstacles may seem unfair or extreme. Just remember that difficult doesn’t mean impossible and with a lifestyle there really isn’t an expiration date. -
There were already several fitness shows and years of training behind in the before pic (August 2015) so this is not my ”before fitness” -photo at all. Things just started to go really wrong at some point and eventually it became a huge domino effect. I didn't react to things like health issues and personal life struggles early enough, and I felt I was some kind of superhuman. I really believed I was able to do everything at the same time and as good as possible. Just like everyone else thinks of themselves before burning out. -
I had to find a way to do things that brought out the best of my personality. Not a way that highlighted the worst and the most harmful traits in me. This is something I think is really important as an athlete and as a coach: learn how to improve your/athlete’s personality. Emotional control and self-satisfaction are way more complicated to learn and teach than determination and #beastmode. -
So during these years, I have built, not only my physique again, but especially changed the quality of all of my behavior and thinking. There is no shortcut, no miracle diet or magic training program. If you have a desire for something (like I do for fitness) then giving up is NOT an option. You must be ready to look in the mirror and see the real reasons behind your situation. Change comes from your own actions so complaining must end and in many cases goals needs to be modified for something that you are actually willing to work for. ”Have to” is never a long-lasting way. -
Althought there have been many moments of desperation, I have NEVER lost my desire or motivation. The few people who know me well, know this is the honest truth. In every situation I have believed in myself and that’s my strengh
