Zoo Labs alumni to the rescue!
Our mixing desk was in need of cleaning. ZL alumni volunteered to dust and clean 1400+ knobs and 1100+ buttons in one day! This kept the studio’s downtime to a minimum, prevented delays in programming and allowed more time for alumni to create. Thank you @brittctann@kvnmccann@geoffreygeoffrey@patrickaguirre_ for donating your time and energy to improving ZL.
Hope that this process brought more understanding of the tools that help you make your art. We’re always happy to impart studio knowledge in addition to our regular programming of business skills and strategies.
What should we do next? Would you be interested in a cable fixing party? We could teach the basics of soldering, fix a bunch of cables to add to the studio and as a byproduct, you wouldn’t have to spend money on new cables when they break in the future. What do you think? 🎶 by @bradkdollar
Now I haven’t been posting a heck of a lot lately, apart from being busy at work, I’ve been trying to get through quite a big backlog of edits from the christmas period. I have started on a new hard drive for 2019 and I’m also trying out adobe photoshop (I wish you could buy a stand alone version like Lightroom 😩). Lightroom has been my favourite editing software to use since I bit the bullet and bought it a few years ago and it’s a very powerful tool.
This year I want to really improve and develop my photography and editing skills along with learning new ones but I don’t want to start over editing photos either. Panoramas have always been a favourite of mine to do and I also love to do a bit of macro especially of New Zealand’s flora and fauna.
So here’s to more quality over quantity and trying new things. #lumecube#steelwool#timelapses#macro
This is a shot of a beautiful cluster of lush tree ferns full of new growth that caught my eye last week when I went for an explore around the hut.
I've just been going through my phone, and found this short clip! This is from my South of France and Monaco vlog on my YouTube channel, check out the full video if interested. Link to my channel in bio.
But in all seriousness, Monaco was the most beautiful place I've ever visited, and I couldn't recommend enough! Can't wait to go there again! ❤
