I did change the recipe slightly adding more speed 🏎 into the mince mix, using veg stock instead of beef, I didn't use swede and with the mashed potato I really love mixing in Quark instead of an egg as I love the extra taste it brings it! I also booked the potatoes with some fresh mint in the pan... I know.. sexy

so pleased with my @goalplanners food diary, first day filled in just need to colour code tomorrow! I love writing everything down so I have a visualisation of what I’ve eaten throughout the day. Love how they offer inserts so I can have all my 8 week journals in one place. Definitely recommend if you’re following SW/WW/calorie counting diets. I’m such a sucker for stationery can you tell😫❤️

The left photograph was me at a point where I literally couldn’t bare to look at myself in the mirror because what I saw made me feel sick, it doesn’t help that I was in the worlds worst fitting rooms where the lights shine down on you and make dimpley legs look even worse!! I was trying to find clothes that flattered my figure and honestly I couldn’t find anything other than oversized tshirts / jumpers that would totally hide me and that’s all i would wear for months! It was such a horrible position to be in but it gave me the push I needed. Fast forward to the right picture and my gosh how far have I come 🙋🏼♀️ my confidence is growing daily and @slimmingworld has changed my whole outlook on life! 💞

How it can grow a perfect little human being 👶🏼 Everybody’s pregnancies and experiences are so different. I hated being pregnant , didn’t feel magical , didn’t have the glow , couldn’t move quickly which is so frustrating to me because I’m a go go go person. Carrying that extra weight is so tiring , being pregnant and running around after a toddler is x 10 tiring, hormones flying high 100% or the time. I never really got the chance to enjoy it all that much. But then I look back on photos like this and see how amazing the human body actually is and I’m so grateful that I got to do it not once but twice. 💕
There are so many moments where you feel so ugly, you question will my body ever be the same, will my stomach go back? Am I going to loose this baby weight? Your body will never be the same after having kids but you grow a new appreciation for it. You appreciate what it used to look like, how amazing it is growing a baby, and then how even more amazing it is being able to go “back” on your PP journey.
In saying that though it’s not a walk in the park and loosing your baby weight doesn’t happen by not doing anything about it. Some are lucky and this does happen naturally , others like me have to work for it.
If you put 100% in, you will get 100% out and anyone is capable of doing it. Here I am 20kgs later more determined then ever to have my dream body!
