Squat baby #squat . 🏋🏼♂️💪
Pyysin kollegaa tekemään mulle parin päivän treeniohjelman salille, niin tässä sitä ollaan pitkästä aikaa kyykkäämässä.
En muista milloin viimeksi olen tehnyt säännöllisesti kyykkyä mutta tästä se taas lähtee. Voimatasoissa ei ole kehumista mutta pikku hiljaa hyvä tulee, ei tuo keskivartalo vielä raskaita painoja edes kestäisi.
On ihan super kivaa pitkästä aikaa noudattaa jonkun toisen tekemää treeniohjelmaa. Itselleen sitä tekee helposti vain mukavia ja kivoja treeniohjelmia, niitä liikkeitä joita tietää osaavansa hyvin ja mitkä tuntuu kivalta.
Nyt on aika laittaa itsensä mukavuusalueen ulkopuolelle ja tehdä niitäkin liikkeitä missä ei ole niin hyvä tai mitkä ei tunnu niin kivoilta ja tämä kyykky on muunmuassa yksi niistä.💪👊 Mikä on sun inhokki liike salilla mitä sun kuitenkin olis hyvä tehdä?😃👍

✴️ Lower back pain can be crippling 🚷. Not only that , it can cause problems else where in the body. .
➡️ Sometimes it works it way down ⬇️the leg and can cause knee/hip issues and sometimes it causes tension that works its way up ⬆️ the back 😖 giving people pain in the neck or around the shoulder blade area 👎🏽. .

1️⃣- 3️⃣ Barbell Lateral Lunges
You can hold the bar in front of you or on your back as I show (I do both 👌🏻). I am lunging as deep as my hamstring will allow while keeping my foot down on the floor. Work within your flexibility by lunging with your foot flat and then with your foot flexed. I also try to keep my butt back as far as possible to force more of the load onto my glutes 🙌🏼💦!! I then move directly into wide stance squats.
4️⃣ No weight Lateral Lunges
If your form lacks, pass on the barbell and drop your ego 😉👌🏻. Get the movement pattern down before loading counterproductive weight onto your back. You can see I struggle with a rep or so because I am focusing on throwing my butt back while forcing my hip to travel in line with my knee. I like to imagine I am lunging into a wall and my knee and medius muscle (side glute) both must touch that wall at the same time. Burns like fiiireee 🔥
5️⃣ Barbell Sit Squats
I showed this exercise before using a bench but I always prefer a step if one is available. I am more comfortable with having my foot travel under the step instead of holding it out in front of me requiring more out of my hip flexor at the bottom of the movement. I need my mind to focus more on getting out of the hole with my hamstring and glutes. I then bring my bent knee up in standing position to contract my opposite glute. 😈
Love them but haaaate them if I don’t start my routine with them when I have alllll the energy 😂🤦🏼♀️. This mommy was getting tired 😓.

Didn’t think I’d join in on this whole #10yearchallenge thing but here we are praising the lord for puberty and weight training 🤣 (tbh this is a lie cus this is 8.5 ish years- best I could do for a full length photo🤷♀️)
Not sure why I thought it was acceptable for my bra to be sticking out but at least my tan was half decent 😂😂!
I feel like you can tell in an odd way how much I have changed internally here rather than the obvious external changes. I remember back then being very weak minded and unsure of myself in every way. Needless to say, though i’m still not fully appreciative of how far I have come (capricorn life) I can appreciate what i’ve been through to get here☺️
