I’ve spent the last 10 years trying to determine what exactly was wrong with me...why I didn’t feel like the same person my mother raised and why I kept pushing the ones who loved me most the furthest away. I could cry at the thought of something simple, alone and unprompted but would feel no emotion watching someone else cry in front of me. I’ve fought hard to be strong and reliable emotionally for so long that I forgot how to be empathetic. Life came at me fast after Iraq and the transition to a civilian is still an ongoing struggle. I had to grow my own self awareness from the ground up and unfortunately I hurt a lot of people in the process of finding myself again. I guess the point I’m trying to make is that everyone fights a battle inside themselves and it’s ultimately up to ourselves to find our own peace. I decided to post this as an outreach to anyone else out there fighting a battle in which they may not understand or want to face. You are still YOU inside, even when it feels like you’re not. You are loved and you are important.
Share this with anyone you feel needs to hear my message, tell them you love them, tell them it’s going to be okay.

Love fear for showing up because when we choose to love it, the fear dissolves it into action.💕
We learn much more in life from our errors than we ever do from our successes. :
Slow down, tune in, and listen for your purpose. All the guidance we’re seeking, lies within each of us. When we are intentional in tuning in, we access it.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom! Understanding human nature with humor!🦋
