Also the creatures of the sea, are very individual. It’s so hard to imagine all that life down there........ #seashell#sealife#beachlife🌴I found this shell just today. It was amazingly cold, rare here but no wind and full Sun. Totally lovely!

There is something about swimming along with these beautiful sea turtles. We respect their space but enjoy seeing them while we are out. Being in the open water with sea life is one of our favorites part of being out on The Rogue Shark Boat⠀
Have you been to the Caribbean lately? What’s your favorite island?

Do you wonder, why there several different areas of photography shown on my feed here?
I like to try something new sometimes.
My main thing is about portraits. But I like other things too like street photography, architecture, cityscapes, landscapes, nature and macro as well as sometime abstract pictures of patterns or so.
Did several weddings as photographer in the past years and some kids/family and grown ups portraits.
As a kid, I started in the analoge area with a small multicoloured film-camera, which I got from my parents.
So I am a self taught photographer through experience, trial and error, who likes to share about it with other enthusiasts.
In my youth, a friend showed me how to develop film and how to make prints there. I came back to this darkroom magic later in 2016, but mainly I’m using digital cameras.
Photoshop Lightroom is a Programm which helps me to sort all this many pictures and to do some small tweaks to make the pictures even a little bit better.
But there are some other programms, which are fine to use as Photoshop Plug-In sometimes.
Soon I am moving to Berlin, the capital city of Germany. So you can expect some more street photography from there in the future.
As well as I want to develop my portfolio of portraits there too, due to large number of interesting people, which you can find all over in this exiting place called Berlin.
Just want to mention, this is not an advertisement. 😊
Cool Fact Friday: Hermit crab have a soft, asymmetrical abdomen, 10 legs and 2 large claws. Its abdomen is twisted to wrap around the spire inside the shell of a gastropod.
The shell of the hermit crab is both its armor and home.
Hermit crabs are always on the lookout for new shells to accommodate their growing bodies.
Despite their name, they are more closely-related to lobsters than crabs. There are about 1100 species of these crabs. Some are aquatic while some are terrestrial. Most species are nocturnal.
These crabs have stalked eyes and very good vision. They also have two pairs of antennae, one of which is used for feeling, while the other is used for smelling and tasting. 🐚🦀🦂

Sea anemones—those tentacled creatures you read about in school textbooks—not only have weird hairdos, they do weird things too. They can multiply by splitting down the middle. And the only opening they have in their body is their mouth! Read more about these weirdos (and some more) in my latest piece. Link in bio. #mumbai#sealife#coasts#anemones#instagrammersofmumbai#sandyshores

Did you know? Tiger Sharks can live up to 50 years with females tending to grow larger than males. It is believed that females are bigger, because they need to be able to carry their large litter of pups during gestation. The tiger shark is the only species in its family that is ovoviviparous; its eggs hatch internally and the young are born live when fully developed. .
