We're all imperfect in our own way, but that's not an excuse for not aiming to be better.
Seeking perfection in anything is unhealthy and tiring, both physically and mentally. We must seek improvement and challenge our current self with picturing a 'better' version of our future self, a healthier and stronger one.
The problem here is not only aiming for being perfect, but putting ourselves in the illusion of perfectionism while ignoring the working part and the problems that we have to fix first, such as negative thoughts, attitudes, life style..etc and yes, we end up reaching absolutely nothing.
Once we realize that perfectionism is unhealthy, learn to notice our thoughts and the negative emotions we feed our minds and deal with each problem separately, then a better life is guaranteed. ♥
