Well yesterday was leg day. @mrstrebon and I are feeling it today, but that didn’t stop us from getting in a butt kicking workout today. Here is both the workouts for those that are interested. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
* 3 sets of 8 reps
* Tempo note: 3 seconds going down, pause at the bottom for 1 second, 2 seconds up.
* Immediately after the last set, drop the weight by half and burn out as many reps as possible.
* 4 sets of 10 reps
* Tempo note: 2 seconds down, 2 seconds up
* Barbell reverse lunge * 4 sets of 8 reps per leg
* Dumbbell Romanian deadlift * 4 sets of 12 reps
* Leg extension * 3 sets of 20 reps
* Leg curl * 3 sets of 20 reps
* Immediately after the last rep on each exercise, drop the weight by half and burn out for as many reps as possible. Once reaching failure, drop the weight again and go until failure. Continue until you can’t go any lighter. ✨✨✨✨✨ Today’s Work
40 second active / 20 sec rest *Plate Ground to Overhead *1 person Battle Rope & 1 person Plank *KB High Pull *Inch Worm to Push-Up *Run 200 meters between each set of exercises

How many meditations do you need to learn?
Although you may want to learn lots to have when you need them, personally, I only believe that you only need to learn one (a good one, obvs). I've been practising the same style of meditation for (on and off) 10 years.
As I sit with my thoughts, feelings and sensations with a kind, open awareness, the practice still has the calming, grounding effect that it had when I started, and I'm still unearthing insights about the way the mind works that keep me coming back to sit every day.
When practising mindful awareness, you can always go deeper. Deeper into thought patterns, deeper into feelings, deeper into the tapestry of your conscious. Your sub-conscious.
Deeper into the parts of you that you didn't even know existed.

Today’s present moment pic — growth has to start from somewhere. The joy is that growth can start from anywhere. This tree was all but dead — just a stump and twigs with nary a spot of green. A friend helped nurse it back to health by cutting out all the dead roots and dry rot that was stymieing its growth and by giving it love and attention. Just a month later, leaves have formed and tiny buds have begun to sprout. Cut out what’s holding you back; what’s draining you; what’s preventing you from growing.
