When I began Samba classes almost 5 years ago, I never imagined I would dance solo in a feature stage show at Seaworld Carnivale... Let alone be the face for Seaworld Carnivale 2019!
Hard work, commitment & perseverance really do pay off. I never worked hard in order to achieve this goal; I worked hard because my passion for Samba inspires me to learn more and train more. I show up to class when I feel tired. I continue when my body aches. I take off my heels when they break and continue dancing barefoot.
When we are committed to learning and growing as a person through our passion, opportunities to share our passion with others become available.
If you haven't already, I encourage you to find something that interests you and do it for fun... You never know what will become of it, where it can take you or who you could meet.
3 more nights of Seaworld Carnivale left.. January Thu 17th, Fri 18th & Sat 19th. Hope to see you there or someone soon doing what we love ❤️

Yesterday was a day of transformative growth and inspiration for The Sirens 🖤 we traveled together to Seattle as a collective, and met Howard McLaren, one of the founders of R+Co. We watched and listened as he explained and described our culture and the history of our profession in terms of art and prestige. We are so proud to be Hairstylists.. our job is so much more than what most people can even imagine ✨ #asirenslifeforme#thecultureofhairdressing@howardmclaren@randco
“Art-making has an alchemical effect on the imagination. It awakens the senses and sharpens insights, teaching us to think in symbols, metaphors, and to de-code complexity, so we can perceive the world in new ways.” - I saw a person drawing this amazing art a couple of weeks ago and then set down in the center of it and meditate. The sunset right above the ocean made it even more fascinating & beautiful. I stoped and enjoyed the art till the sun was gone, and so is the art was gone as the ocean 🌊 waves washed it away. It was something unique, you’ll never see it again. That is why the present moment is that all we have. Wherever you are be all there. #naturebeauty
