Throwback 2 actually I think I was 6 or 7 in these pictures cuz my brother doesnt look like he is 14 if I was 10 so correction I was 6 or 7 at my swimming competition 🏊 I started swimming lessons when I was 6 months old & was on a pee wee swim Team when I was 3 & swam competitively until I got pregnant at 17 with my oldest son. I was blessed to go to Junior Olympics for my 1000, 500 & my Mile in Free as well as every State meet from the time I was very very little & placed 1st or 2nd in every competition. Trained my butt off 6 days a week & doubles once I turned 12. I barely ever missed a practice or a swim meet EVER & swam with a broken elbow & 103 degree temperature. I literally did not do anything but eat, sleep, school & swim for a very very long time. My dream was to go to the olympics but obviously God had a different plan for me because while I was training for the 2008 Olympics I ended up Prego. I will always be a swimmer & the pool will always be a 2nd home 2 me & I am sure every single competitive swimmer that spemt their whole life doing it will feel the same. There's just a sense of calmness when you get in the water, a sense of relief & a sense of strength .. Its an amazing feeling & no matter where life takes me I will always find my way back to a pool.
So today I won my very first case & it was my own. I went back to court over visitation for my oldest son. His biological father wanted to have Travis on the days that he was working so he could give Travis 2 my parents & I wanted him to have Travis on his days off which makes sense because why have Travis if your not going to be home. You would think that his bio father would be happy but of course he is not because his whole reason for going to court was for my parents because why would he want Travis if he wasnt going 2 be there. So now he is mad because he has to have Travis on his days off SMH !!! The Judge saw right through his lies because he couldn't PROVE anything he was saying but me on the other hand documented everything and had EVIDENCE supporting what I was saying. Nothing more that I want then for Travis to have a relationship w/ his bio dad but I can't force it he has to want a relationship w/ his son. He sees getting Travis while he is not working is a tragedy yet I am happy & excited for Travis so what his bio dad does is on him. A father that wants to be involved in his children's lives do whatever they can to be involved. I am a fathers rights activist,I whole heartedly want my son to have a relationship with his father. I have seen what alienation does to children & it is in the best interest to have both parents.
