The photos on the right were taken on the same night and (to my mind and eyes) show the camera does sometimes lie. Whereas the top right and the left photo are forward facing photos of me and in my opinion don’t show a great deal of change, there is actually 34lbs loss between them. The photos on the right, taken the same night, but are at different angles appear to show more of a difference.
Take photos, see how far you have come, but don’t relay on scales and images to define your achievements. Look at the non scale victories #nsv of how you feel, how far you can now run without dying and how your mental health is.

Sitting at 109.5kg/241.4lbs today and couldn’t be happier! If I had stuck to the meal plan earlier this month I would’ve already been at my first goal 😂🙄 BUT I’m doing it now and know I’ll get there!

I was running late on time and almost didn’t make the post. But today was another day, and it’s nice to say because it’s definitely coming easier. Considering tonight a #nsv! I HATE going to the gym any other time than when other people aren’t awake 😂 but I slept in a little too long this morning, therefore, I drove my butt to the gym at 5:30pm. It was packed... but instead of my almost “I’ll just grab these dumbbells and stand out of the way” attitude, I proudly grabbed whatever equipment I needed for my workout sets and stood in front of the mirror and weights rack like anyone else would. No one is going to have confidence for you. If nothing else, fake it till you make it. #kissmytush#curvygirlsworkouttoo

I really wish I had started measuring myself at the beginning of my journey but sadly I didn’t 😩 (if you’re new to keto, go freaking measure yourself! lol and take all the pictures!) thankfully, I do remember which belt hole I was using I started this journey. I’m a big believer in staying away from the scale and only weighing yourself like once a month or so (I don’t even have a functioning scale in my house lol). But I do know that your body can be changing massively and then the times that the scale doesn’t reflect that, it bums you out hardcore and makes you question everything. I remember weighing myself one day because I was feeling super trim and the scale said that I had put a pound on and it really freaking bummed me out! I later tried on a pair of pants that were way too small for me two weeks before and they fit perfect! If anything they were a bit loose! So I said screw the scale and just kept #ketoingon ! And that was 4 months ago, and I was fitting into a size 12. Now I’m a size 6/8. I’m just totally dumbfounded. So thankful for that day and for my realization bc I’ve come so far in such a short amount of time. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

I worked out today (no surprise)... #NSV TODAY has marked the first week that I’ve been completely back on track to working out 3-4 times a week. So I’ll take that 💪🏾 Friday is R E S T day and Saturday will be my 4th workout!! I’m happy to be back in the game! Today I did a workout called POUND...it was my first time and it was pretty different! I think I may take the class next Thursday 😊.
Just a quick #nsv is being able to fit back in these heels 👠I hadn’t been able to buckle the strap (goes across the front of the lower ankle area) for so long. Still not enough for them to be comfortable again but hey, PROGRESS IS PROGRESS! 💁🏻♀️

Ending the night with our favorite snack/dessert. Mango, and a little chili powder for me! If your body is hungry, feed it! After a day of working out, my body was hungry and craving something sweet, here is my solution. My body is fed ✅ my craving for something sweet is satisfied✅ I made a better choice than what is typical or easy ✅. Remember, progress over perfection!
Mangos are a great source of Folic Acid and antioxidants. It has also been suggested that they help boost metabolism and promote weight loss.
All while being overall lower in calories and in fat!
