I was actually able to set my alarm for a half hour later than usual since these workouts are only 20 minutes each!!! That extra 30 minutes of sleep feels great! I know how important sleep is for you but that always seems to be the one area that we sacrifice first. I am working on that. I am slowly adjusting my schedule to allow for more rest.

Of course you do. Follow these simple tips to fix your vertical pull.
Stop the leg kicks this isn't crossfit. Save the jerks for alone time. 🤷♂️ Granted on your last few reps you may do it out of necessity, but if you're doing it on rep one then you need some assistance.
Retract and depress your Scaps (shoulders back and down). Pull ups and chin ups require massive scapular control. If you can't pull your shoulders back and down you aren't working your back just your arms. (wonder why you aren't getting any better at chins?)
Pull your chest towards the bar, not chin. If you're pulling your chin to the bar you will probably miss out on a large amount of activation. If you focus on pulling chest to bar and "elbows back" you will get a lot more of a squeeze.
Don't poke your head. I massively struggle with this and all other points as well. However, this is a bad habit to get into. If you poke your head to make all your reps not just the last. It's too heavy bro.
Lock out! Make sure to fully extend the elbow and come to a full hang. Keep your Scaps activated this entire time but make sure you stop doing half reps.
Take your time. Learn the movement. Strip it back. Master the movement. Repeat. Don’t go too heavy too early. Master each technique piece by piece and go from there.

In all honesty, life has been on the upside now that I have severed toxic relationships and individuals who feed off of drama, including family members. I have been out of high school for over 17 years(crap I’m old!😱), no need to continue to live there via wrong relationships. Baffles me how some never grow out of that mindset despite getting married, raising kids, and or drowning themselves in their careers.
Anyhow, I love that I smile and laugh more often than not. Life is grand. I am blessed!

Hey! I’m Sheridan – I am 28 years old and live in Sydney, Australia. I hold a Bachelor of Nursing and a Diploma of Health Science in which I majored in Nutrition.
Today I work as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care environment. Before nursing I worked as a fitness coach for over 4 years and helped countless woman achieve their own health and fitness goals. I am so grateful for the growth and challenges being a nurse has presented me with.
But my true desire is to help women up-level their relationship with food by providing a BS free approach to nutrition and fitness.
What is my motto?

Who am I to give this kind of advice?
It wasn’t that long ago that I went on my own health and fitness journey. 7 years ago to be exact. I had no nutritional knowledge. I only knew what others told me. What I stepped in to was the world of dieting, and just 6 short months later I went from 70kg to 45kg and then spent the next three years recovering from orthorexia and amenorrhea.
I know the pain you are going through because I have been there.
And I am here to tell you that there is another way.
💕The bottom line? I don’t believe in diets. 💕I don’t believe we should live in a world where food has so much control over us.
I’m here to show you that you can achieve your fitness goals while enjoying your favourite foods.
I’m here to show you that you can have your cake and eat it too! 🎂
