People usually ask me “why are you pushing yourself to study again. You have finished with your studies, just calm down and enjoy your life.” Of course, it’s not always fun to read on weekends or stay sleepless overnight to finish hundreds of pages to pass an exam. But the feeling you have after you achieve each one of your goals, step by step, is something special.
Continuous personal and professional development is not only important because you become more competent or just being crazy for having a pile of certificates. It makes you absorb what is useful, discard what is not and most important learn about yourself.
Remember you are your best investment! Keep learning..keep exploring 🤓📚💪🏻 #tbt#newyearseve#2018#stavrosniarchos
#PleasureResolution Day 19! One of the most difficult aspects of #vulvodynia or any other type of #pelvicpain can be pain and fear of pain around sex and intimacy, causing women to give up on experiencing sensual pleasure at all.
But pleasure (of all kinds) supports health and feeds your soul, so it’s important to find ways to add it in...even if you’re in pain.
Today, I’m sharing a practice you can use NOW, even if you are experiencing #painfulsex to bring pleasure back into your body and your life.
As women our entire body is built for pleasure of all kinds. One of the keys to experiencing this is to bring touch, presence and intention together.
Start a practice of touching your body with loving presence. You only need 10 minutes. You can do this yourself and/or with a partner, but I recommend beginning with yourself so that you can stay 100% present with your own experience without being distracted.
Stroke your hair, your face, your neck, arms, breasts, belly and legs with love and care, the way you would touch a lover. Move slowly, breathe into your low belly, and stay present with the sensations you feel.
What sensations do you notice at the point where your fingers makes contact with your skin? What sensations do you notice in the rest of your body? Breathe into those sensations and allow them to expand. Intend for your touch and sensation to nourish every cell.
When we’re in pain it’s easy to lose touch with the fact that our bodies can also be a source of pleasure. We get very focused on trying to solve problems and fix our body, and the neural pathways in our brain dedicated to pleasure literally begin to atrophy.
We can build them again with touch and loving presence.
Share your experience using the #PleasureResolution and do that at least 5 times with any of the practices we share, so you can win a coaching session from one of us!
