My sunshine ⛷✨
Traveling for work this week has me feeling especially homesick. However, home, I’ve realized isn’t a place at all but a person. Wishing I had a little bit of your light here in rainy California. 😘
Drive a few hours, arrive at a trail head at 3am having not slept from pure excitement. Then begin one of the most taxing hikes of your hiking career pushing as fast as you can through knee high snow uphill on notably one of the hardest day hikes in the Whites. And only to miss sunrise. I would still rather do that over staying at home. No question. I’m not the type of person to sit dormant too long. Thoughts of adventure are always running through the back of my mind. When an opportunity comes, I jump.
Just left and already can’t wait to go back. My first national park was a success, which ones next!?
Hitting the sunrise at otter cliff was breathtaking, definitely worth waking up early for. At 110 feet it’s the tallest cliff in Acadia National Park.
