Getting less sleep causes:
❌Worse workplace performance
❌Worse focus in meetings
❌Reduced motivation to learn
(No, no, no, no, NO!)
The CDC recommends 7+ hours of sleep for better health outcomes. So instead, try to
✔️Go to bed and wake at consistent times
✔️Make the bedroom a dark, quiet, relaxing environment
✔️Avoid watching TV or using the computer in bed, and remove screens from bedroom altogether
✔️Avoid large meals before bedtime
✔️Exercise! Being active during the day could help you get to sleep at night. Plus sleep makes you more likely to exercise AND improves your recovery!
Do you get enough sleep? .
Beautiful take on our Butterscotch #Budino by @elbowsontables 💯👆🏽 tag us in your home creations for a #repost ・・・
Undressing this Butterscotch Budino and I do believe it’s making us blush. • @pizzeriamozza is by far our fan favorite of LA dining experiences go. When we first visited the Pizzeria we tried Nancy’s Butterscotch Budino with signature rosemary cookie and as our eyes rolled to the back of heads and we finally came floating back to consciousness we knew were tasting something magical. •
So for this Sunday’s bake we made our own version, while not as magical as Nancy’s, Mozza will always reign supreme we were quite impressed with our perfectly balanced, maybe a bit too indulgently sweet Budino’s.
THE ONE CHANGE I MADE (slightly over a year difference)🌸:
▶️First: think of this scenario. You see someone who’s really buff, guy or girl, and you think “wow they must be strong,” because more muscle = more strength, right?!
🔺Now reverse it: Say you want to build muscle (and yes, your glutes are muscles). In order to build more muscle (aka strength), you need to become stronger.... das it. Muscle growth is really as simple as that!
▶️Of course there are factors like nutrition, goals, age, gender and all that. But the basic principle that muscle is built through progressive overload—aka getting stronger—has been proven time and time again..
🔺And that’s what happened this year. I stopped following the “cool,” “new,” “intriguing,” banded and low-weight workouts you see all throughout instagram, and instead picked up some heavy weights. And tbh, I’m happier now than ever with my physique😊💛
