What am I grateful for today:
1) My bad day yesterday...
What bitch said what? She’s grateful that she broke down and couldn’t stop tears when she was in public? Yes, I’m extremely grateful for it! It gave me an amazing chance to get the “me” time I needed and also to reflect on my Titan games progress. I realize I’m not where I want to be. Meaning I know I can do more. Things I’m changing: 8 hours sleep, 1 hour of David goggins everyday (What if mentality - the guy who achieved 102lbs weight loss in 3 months to become a navy seal) and macro tracking. Plus adding a weekly maintainence massage. Bad days always gives me motivation. I use negativity to drive me forward. So last night I went spa for one hour sauna & steam room, napped 3 hours & mobility session. Felt damn good 🙌🏻
Oh I did eat which I intend to break this habit... I realist the above just sounded like I did successes 🤣 ha no! Twix, wholenut chocolate bar, x2 small KitKats and 2 packs of sweets. Hey I comfort eat too 🤣. But today is a new day and I’ve got the above added to my list so goodbye comfort food.
You're checking your email and you're not sure how to respond to 2 of them, so you decide to answer those later. Result? You forget, and the senders get annoyed, email you again, and then you have to reread the original emails, then decide how to respond - Better respond immediately so you can put the task behind you.
Or what about this scenario: A new business idea comes across your desk. You spend an hour researching it, but can't decide what to do, so you decide to deal with it later. But later you're busy, so you put it off until even later, and of course forget all about it. Two weeks down the road you see the same idea, it still sounds good so you start the process all over again.
Do either of these sound familiar? When you have to re-examine everything that come across your desk, you'll become overwhelmed and things will fall through the cracks. Instead, learn to make immediate decisions and move on. This way you don't miss opportunities and your desk and your mind are clear to move forward towards success.

I made it to 13 yesterday!!! .
I’d never have expected myself to hit 13 given the fact that it took me 2 months to reach 10 from 9.75. And I was yo-yo-ing between 8-9 reps in nov and dec. How the hell did I end up with 3 more in two weeks? .
I figured I probably could have reached my 10 rep goal earlier but every single time when I’m under the bars I start to feel weak and I get butterflies in my stomach, especially when @titust_t and whoever’s around are watching. He was very sure I could do 10 many times and I think he was right. I gave myself too much pressure and was already setting myself up for failure even before I tried. . “Never underestimate yourself because you’re stronger than you think.” - gonna get this stuck in my head as I continue on my pull up journey for 2019. 1 muscle up next maybe? 😬

I trained upper body last night and had one of the biggest successes yet.
At the beginning of December, I decided it was time to begin bench pressing. In the past, I have injured myself multiple times, even with just 10 pound dumbbells trying to press. The stress on my joints has left me in burning, pinching and aching pain for days after performing just a few reps. I've attempted it several times in the past 3 years, then stopped after the pain set in, to not even think about it for months before I'd try again.
But last night, I was able to complete 2 reps with 80 pounds, 35 pounds on a bar. I had to hold back tears from excitement. For a long time, I wasn't sure if this would ever be possible. But I tried my hardest to believe I'd overcome this, and then I decided, I absolutely am going to conquer the pain and get to where I want to be. To most people, benching 80 pounds is laughable. But I felt like I was pushing every negative feeling and moment of frustration away from me with those reps, it was one of the most satisfying things I've ever experienced in the gym. It might as well have been a world record, haha. And there's been no pain today either!
This is what I needed to keep on working hard, and I can see it perfectly, a vision in the distance of reaching every single thing I set out to achieve. Seeing your belief and relentless attitude pay off is indescribable. I feel unstoppable. Health goals, fitness goals, life goals, they're all mine.
I'm so freaking grateful. Thrilled. I'm determined. I'm ready for more. ......And it's really nice to train upper body in pajama pants. 🐆
