First improv attempt for you all. Why blindfolded? Well, yes Bird Box has something to do with it but, believe it or not practicing with your eyes closed is a common piano practice technique. It teaches you not to look at your hands! 👀 Why? Well the irony is that it helps you sight read! By teaching your brain not to look at your hands then you prevent the up down looking that happens when people try to read notes and look at their fingers at the same time. The same thing applies to playing a video game or typing on a keyboard ⌨️ 🎹 your brain just memorized the distances between all of the notes. Was this news to you or did you know this already?

day eighty three of #100daysofprayer : Lord, today I pray for my sponsored child in Africa, who recently got some social media. Please protect her from those who want to do her harm, keep her eyes shielded from scarring content, and give her wisdom as she navigates this tricky world. I ask that she would be confident in who she is and not seek the approval of people, knowing that she is a treasured child of the living God. ♪ Meditation from Thaïs
