I've had a really productive day and I love it when that happens 😊 I'm slowly tackling our upstairs room by room (and by tackling I mean de-cluttering, ready for when we eventually decorate/paint/furnish etc) and today was my daughter's bedroom. Again a bit astonished by how much stuff she has ... i.e. what I've accumulated for her, as she is a toddler 😂 Although her cotbed is niw rebuilt (only took over 6 months whilst she camped out on mattresses with us in our bedroom!) We still haven't rebuilt her wardrobe which could take another few months! So I've done what I can to bag up and put away her clothes that she's outgrown and also next season's stuff and made her winter clothes, PJs and vests easily accessible using the drawers of her bed and baskets. I did the Kon Mari folding method! Impressed with the amount of space saved and being able to see everything. Loving the floor space that I've unearthed too 😂 Lets hope it stays that way until I can properly decorate! REAL ESTATE TAX TIPS FOR HOMEOWNERS!! Tax season is upon us. Here are some really important tips that may be useful and help save you money with deductions this tax season. I recommend you take these forms with you when you meet with your accountant.
1. Have your 1098 form from your mortgage company. This form is a statement showing all the interest you paid on your mortgage in 2018. It will also note charges for your mortgage insurance which is typically deductible.
2. Your property taxes are another cost that is typically tax deductible. Find out the correct tax paid based on the invoices you received from your local city or township. If you do not have these forms I can gladly assist in getting you a copy at no cost to you!
3. If you purchased or refinanced in 2018, be sure to take your closing package with you.
