She lived in a building next to an ATM. The night watchman at the ATM started liking her, so he looked after her. He said she would be hungry early morning. So after feeding her, I would leave a small container of cat food at the ATM. The watchman would give it to her in the morning when his duty got over and he left.
After about a year or so he was sacked. The watchman changed. I asked the new one if he would continue to feed and he agreed. In the last 5 years, about 4 watchmen changed and each one would be given a container to feed the cat.
Early this year the bank shifted. The property was closed. For a couple of days, I planned on getting up early to go feed the cat, but I was down with cold and fever and couldn't manage.
Across the road is a restaurant. One day I went and asked if someone there could feed her early morning. They agreed!!!
When I started feeding, I faced a lot of resistance from people. But slowly and steadily over the last 7 years they have seen me every single day feeding and medicating them and people's outlook has also changed. Now they don't hit or hurt them and will provide animals and birds with some biscuits or water.
