Via @restless.arch - The Simone 0914 Flagship Store is designed by @tru_found, and is located in Seoul, South Korea. Photography by @anh.yeong and Park Young-chase. What a beautiful piece of architecture this one is. Striking in its appearance this building is so unique and out of the box. The designer has taken a solid white cuboid and punctured hexagonal volumes in it, to make this contrast even more striking these recessed hexagonal volumes are treated with brick. The play of fired red bricks and white is mesmerising. This idea is not only visually striking but also shades the multiple windows of this building without much effort. Definitely one of the most unique and unusual things we've seen in the recent past.
Not many changes being made right now. We had tile that was backordered, but should be completed late this week.
We’re a little behind schedule with the trim carpenter. He will install all the cabinets, crown molding, baseboards, wall and ceiling finishes, etc - a huge step!
In the meantime, I’ll be hanging out in the master shower, dreaming of the day I can soak in the tub 🛁🍷
You can watch my stories to see why I have no words today 🙄 seriously, I am mentally spent. I deem this the worst day ever for a really long time! 😂 But these kids were perfect today. PERFECT. Sitting on a curb in the cold waiting patiently, were flexible when we could no longer go to their favorite lunch place like I had promised.... they were perfect. I got so lucky with these kids 🥰 Everyone is home safe and tucked into bed now and that’s all that matters at the end of every crap-tastic day 😊 (let’s see if I have the same sweet and calm attitude while renting a car tomorrow.... renting a car is the worrrrrrrrrst, am I right?! 🤮) let’s be real... imma have Mike deal with it 😂 #imthatwife#icantdoit#helpmebabe#idontunderstandwhatyouresayingcarman
Living room dreams🤩. Sometimes you want to just kick your feet up in comfort, but also be able to have a surface for your things. That’s when the ottoman tray comes in handy. Interior space designed and curated by @thehabitatcollective . Fun fact : this was our first project working together 🙌🏼
Here’s a #30a beach house with some serious log cabin vibes. It’s definitely unique and the natural wood finishes are beautiful. I was first drawn to this home because I love the exterior design and the gulf views it has are 🌟amazing🌟 Swipe for a tour! .

Another one of subtractive architecture - Grândola meeting center by Aires Mateus. Simple subtractions here and there that make such powerful overall form.

Having caught the decluttering bug that many others have caught this new year, we were excited on Sunday to spend a couple of hours sorting items in the office. The products of our labor were a nearly empty drawer and a clear shelf. We shifted the final few items from the drawer to the bottom one of this pair of terra-cotta pots, thereby making the office supplies more accessible and balancing the white space alongside the window, which had for a while seemed too bare. The top terra-cotta pot holds our new spider plant (see second photo). ❤️ The newly emptied drawer became a container for the notebooks and scrap paper that we use to plan household tasks, and the newly cleared shelf became a surface for books (see third photo). The shelf space on the right holds my immediate reading list, while the space on the left is reserved for books to be checked out from the library. 📚

What do you think about this Bathroom? 🤗
Cozy Bathroom is designed and visualized by Interior Designer @sedova_h , from Kyiv, Ukraine. A very stunning bathroom. Although the wall and its pattern brings in a nostalgic feeling (the bathrooms in the 70's perhaps) the glass partitions with the beautiful black frames is very contemporary and current. To think that it's this glass which is also the wall to the bathroom; surely enhances the aesthetic of the space. All the other fixtures which are also in black which further reinforce the black lines of the glass. We are surely in love with this one for various reasons, some you just can't put a finger on.
