I started my weight loss journey November 1st, the day after we got back from our trip to NY. I’ve been on this program for a total of 78 days!!! I can’t believe the progress I’ve made. I know I’m working towards my goals, I’m changing my lifestyle- my eating habits and implementing workout routines- but I’m also changing mentally, reminding myself I can reach my goals this year if I keep working towards them! I can’t wait until I reach my size and weight goal! Just wanted to show the improvement I’ve made so far 😋 If I can do it you so can you, ask me how!

THIS is what my nutrition system has done for me and I am only 9 months in. I am still a work in progress but it is so much easier when you are feeding your body the right stuff. What is making me want to share these amazing products isn’t in the picture-it’s how I FEEL!! Better sleep, better focus, more energy...who wouldn’t want all of that?!?! #resultsnotresolutions#isagenix#nourishedin19#healthylifestyle#kimleveringisagenix
Forgot to post breakfast!! Messy stack of jacks🥞 so delicious and easy to make.😋
Ingredients: King Arthur non bleached flour, one egg, one cup almond milk, and three teaspoons baking powder. 🥛
Toppings: small handful of organic mixed nuts, banana sliced, organic creamy peanut butter, and lastly, organic maple syrup. 😛
Salmon Spring Rolls for dinner. Just put this together with what I have which was only lettuce, onions, salmon. 😅

Chicken Monks Stone Pot... Be still my heart!
I swear I dream about these. The sizzling of brown rice cooking in the searing hot bowl, loaded with layers of baby spinach, mushrooms, sprouts, bamboo shoots, zucchini, carrots, and snow peas... I went for chicken this time, plus the egg and hot sauce- omg this is the most amazing thing ever!
Starting tomorrow afternoon I’m going off the grid with some wonderful yogis to get our detox retreat on for the weekend and I can’t wait! That means food detox as well as detox of the mind from electronics, social media, and city noise. I’ve been trying to jumpstart the detox a little bit by limiting fast or junk meals which is super hard especially when you’re busy! I feel like I’m either exercising, working or sleeping and meal prep and proper meal schedule has been nonexistent so I’m super pumped about getting back on track. After this weekend, I will be continuing the detox with a plan curated by my sister from another mister, @natashawellness (check her out for personal meal planning ❤️). Working at a bar has proven very difficult to maintain the diet that works best for me because it is so convenient to just order what is there (fried food, fries, wings, pizza etc) but luckily @rushbowls_columbus just opened up next door!!! Halle-freakin-lujah!! So I tried one for the first time tonight and it was sosososo yummy. I got an açaí bowl topped with granola, chia seeds, shredded coconut, fresh strawberries and a drizzle of honey 🤤...10/10 would recommend. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend maybe with some inspiration while being snowed in to do a little detox of your own! Go one complete day without your phone, computer or other electronics. Read a book in silence or make yourself a delicious, thoughtful, home cooked meal. Happy weekend and happy detoxing if you’re going for it!
Late post .

Tis’ the season and I’m not talking about the holidays I’m talking about COLD & FLU season !!! Yes folks it is amongst us !!! I am one of those people who don’t get the flu shot anymore just because I have been unlucky to have been hit with the flu hard when I have taken it so I decided damned if you do, damned if you don’t. However, it is always advisable to do your research and what may work for some may not work for all.
Here is a list of ways to prevent colds and to build a stronger immune system:
1. Always wash your hands
2. Repair your gut, probiotics help keep your gut engine running
3. Continue doing regular exercises ( 30 mins a day or 60 mins 3x per week ) and get a max amount of rest 7-8 hours
4. Incorporate vitamin C and Zinc into your diet, wether they be taken in a pill form of finding out which fruits and vegetables contain them such as; pumpkin seeds, spinach, oysters, nuts, beans, oranges, blueberries, wild salmon, tomatoes, apples, etc.
5. Herbal teas; green tea, ginger tea, ginseng tea
6. Drink lots of water
7. Garlic, Garlic, Garlic !!! I know it is a strong smell so taking a pill supplement will do 📸: Kelly Sikkema .

Earlier this week, I tried meditation for the first time with the @healthmagazine team and let me tell you it’s one thing I never thought I would be able to do. As someone who works in social media, I’m basically always multi-tasking and never have just one thing on my mind. While sitting still may not come easy to me, it was a great reminder to take some time to focus on the moment you’re in. I left this instagramable dome feeling incredibly relaxed and ready to take on the day 🧘♀️ #WellnessWarriors
Hi all! Here are some wonderful benefits of peppermint! A lot of these stem from the fact that peppermint is a great muscle relaxant, has antibacterial properties, and also has anti-inflammatory properties. It is wonderful as a tea, an essential oil, or just as the leaves themselves! Hope you all have a good day! 😊
Happy Thursday! Whole30 Day 11: Loaded Veggie Omelette with a side of fruit!
Omelette made with 3 @vitalfarms pasture raised eggs, @fourthandheart turmeric ghee, @organicgirl spinach, bell peppers (green, red, yellow) topped with half of an avocado, @traderjoes EBTB seasoning, dill, red pepper, sea salt plus a side of strawberries and sumo oranges which I’m obsessed over right now
Thank you all for your amazing feedback answering questions on my stories last night! I’m compiling all the responses and will get some content up soon for my experience on Whole30 as well as the egg tutorial
Thanks again and wishing you an amazing rest of your Thursday!

I am glad I meal prepped this on Sunday because I am definitely not in the mood to cook tonight 😅 Made up a few of these buddah bowls with alllll the toppings 😁 I used a base of quinoa which I cooked in vegetable broth and Clubhouse chipotle southwest seasoning, and then added some black beans and a bunch of roasted veggies 🔥 I roasted some broccoli, potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, and red peppers, all seasoned with rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper 👌🏻 I just put them in the oven for 20-25 mins at 400° and flip halfway through 🤗 .
This afternoon I had a root canal done and it surprisingly was not that bad 🤷🏼♀️ Didn’t really hurt since I couldn’t feel anything, and went for a 16km run once I got home and half my face was still frozen 😂 The freezing is starting to wear off and my jaw definitely hurts now, so I’ll be taking it easy for the evening 😅 At least tomorrow is Friday though! 🥰
