I am SO thankful that I don’t have to see him in daily pain and don’t have to watch him kill his stomach by eating ibuprofen like candy anymore. Nothing hurts more than seeing someone you love physically hurting.

The question how long is the one I always avoid.
So how long’s it gonna take you?
Whether it’s 10 pounds or 150, I really have no idea.
It could be the first time we’ve spoken or met, I have no idea how long it’s gonna take you.
Honestly I’m way more concerned with you getting there and staying there, then I am with how long.
That 10 pounds could reasonably take 10 weeks.
If you make some sacrifices and prioritize it, and nothing out of your control really gets in your way, it could be something like 10 weeks.
On the other hand it could also be never. Maybe you just don’t want to live the lifestyle needed. Maybe you sorta do but sorta don’t.
In which case those last 10 pounds may stick there. There’s plenty people out there willing to play on this reality and provide a solution that allows you to get there without significant changes.
Creams, pills, potions, magic, whatever. -
Whenever I used to go into fitness goals, from about the age of 14 I just went into it with an end in mind. A picture of what it would look like.
Get to this weight...
Then look like this 💪🏻

Didn’t happen quite like this. But..
Because I ate better and exercised regularly, I felt better consistently. Because I felt better, I was easier to be around, felt better in my own skin, and because of those consistent habits it crated confidence in terms of “wonder what else I can do? 🤔”.
Start thinking about who you wanna be for the rest of your life and start mapping towards that.
You can change and be happier today. Literally right now.
It’s not about faking it. Just work at it. Literally set a reminder on your phone each day to who you want to be.
And confirm that consistently with the actions that map it.
And if you start from there, you’ll keep going. You’ll get better at being that person, at being who you want to be, even when it’s hard.
But if you’re starting spot is that magazine cover or those 12 week before and afters, you’re starting at the end.
Know what the end looks like, but start with now.

Me esperaban? Yo estaba que cocinaba para el mundo entero, y solo he podido hacerlo, en este mes ausente, para seres queridos, sin dejar la evidencia de una buena cena, de un inolvidable asado, de un gran almuerzo o de una suculenta comilona. Yo si esperaba escribirles y empezar de nuevo a marcar la pauta a seguir para recuperar los gramos que se nos pegaron en Diciembre y Enero.
Para comenzar el año, volvi a enfocarme en los pescados, y a disfrutar en mas verduras que nos ayudan a mantenernos sanos. Para hoy les tengo Salmon sellado al ajo en Crema de Queso Azul y Espinacas Baby.
☑️ 1 Barra de Mantequilla sin Sal
☑️ 3 Dientes de Ajo exprimidos
☑️ 1 Puñado de Perejil Liso cortado finamente
☑️ Sal y Pimienta Negra
☑️ Medio Aguacate Haas
☑️ 2 Puñados de Espinacas Baby
☑️ 7 Tomates Cherries
☑️ 180 Gramos de Salmon con Piel
☑️ 30 Gramos de Queso Azul
☑️ 5 Cucharadas de Crema de Leche
1️⃣ En Sartén calentar ajo con mantequilla en fuego medio bajo por 2 mins, y agregar el Salmon, sellando por todos los lados. Sacar el Salmon con pinzas del sartén y agregar crema de leche, sal y pimienta negra.
2️⃣ Revolver con espátula por 3 mins, agregar espinacas baby, tomates, perejil y queso azul, y dejar tapado por 5 mins mas. Ingresar con pinzas el Salmon al sartén y tapar por 4 mins.
3️⃣ Para emplatar, usar pinzas para el salmon, espinaca, cortar en lamina un aguacate y centrar entre salmon y espinacas, y rodear de tomates cherries.
Como empezar dieta después de vacaciones??? Solo empezar es buen síntoma.... When I started I couldn't lift half this much weight or do half as many leg raises. Now this is my comfortable weight for 6×10, and I'm constantly pushing myself further in core workouts. ТВОРОЖНО-СЫРНЫЕ БУБЛИКИ Ингредиенты ( 5шт) 🍍творог в брикете-180г ( у меня 1,8%) 🍍сыр моцарелла-25г 🍍голландский сыр-25г 🍍яйцо-1шт 🍍щепотка соли ( у меня морская ) 🍍рисовая мука-50г 🍍кукурузная мука-50г 🍍разрыхлитель-1/2 ч.л
В творог добавляем яйцо, соль, оба вида сыров, натертых на крупной терке, и хорошо перемешиваем.
Добавляем муку, разрыхлитель и замешиваем мягкое, эластичное тесто. Оправляем в холодильник на 15-20 минут.
Потом разделяем тесто на 5 частей, катаем колбаски и формируем бублика.
Выкладываем на противень на пергаментную бумагу, смазываем яичным желтком.
Выпекаем в разогретой до 180 градусов духовке 25-30 минут, затем повышаем до 200 градусов и выпекаем ещё 10 минут до золотистого цвета.

Nearly inhaled this TASTY dinner after getting my workout on at precision running, which left me breathless! 😅🙌🏼🤩 Tonight’s dinner consists of seared wild SALMON, spinach CAESAR, garlicky broccolini + sliced avocado, the most crispy Dutch yellow baby potatoes 👌🏼😍✨ .
@butcher_box wild salmon filet seasoned with @kouzinifoods honey chipotle seasoning + pink Himalayan sea salt and pepper. Drizzle a little @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil on a pan. Add salmon skin side up and cook 1-2 minutes on medium heat. Flip onto its skin, cover the pan and finish cooking 5-7 minutes (I usually do 6). Peel skin prior to serving ✨ Pair with @organicgirl baby spinach tossed with @primalkitchenfoods Caesar dressing, nutritional yeast and pepper + avocado, broccolini and @traderjoes Dutch yellow baby potatoes (slice potatoes into quarters, lengthwise. Spread on a pan, coat with @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil, @primalpalate garlic & hearb seasoning. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. Flip and cook and addition 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!!!❤️

I deleted almost every full body photo of me for about a decade of my life. It’s one of my only regrets. I’m sure you guys get sick of seeing me share the same few “before” pics but the truth is, they are all I have. It breaks my heart that i worked so hard to delete myself, when i was exactly the same person then as i am now. Just as worthy of being recorded and remembered.
But every once in awhile a new before pic surfaces. This one came from a Facebook group I belonged to about 4 years ago.
So much has changed over the course of this journey. My body, yes. But also my mindset. My confidence. My strength (both physical and emotional). My ability to persevere through challenges and hard seasons. My faith in myself. My belief that I can live a healthy life for the long haul.
What has stayed the same? Who I am.
My heart. My gorgeous, talented, amazing husband who has loved me at every size. My son who snuggled my giant belly just like he snuggles my smaller belly. My smile. My laugh. My sense of humor. My work ethic. My compassion for others.
The things that matter the most have been the same all along. It’s just that being healthier helps me enjoy those things more. ♥️
