Day 20! #GymShark66. I’m feeling pretty happy and amazed that these shorts finally fit again 😂. I thinks it’s really important to take photos and try on clothes to feel and see the difference. I felt like there wasn’t much of a difference until I put these shorts on and had tears in my eyes hahaha and I cannot get over the compliments I’ve received from people this week. It’s nice that your hard work is actually being noticed. Definitely pushing me further and I’m super thankful ☺️
Selfie Sunday? Kind of. Still feeling like death. Forced myself to go to the gym anyway. Felt like my sinuses were on fire, but I did as much as I could. I pushed myself & im proud & then enjoyed the sauna to try to release some of this congestion. A little progress is still better than not going! So I’m gonna call it a win! #gymshark66

20/66: Starting my #gymshark66 journey is about mental health, pay attention to it, talk about it and #endthestigma. 🧠 So besides lifting weights and counting each rep focusing on mind to muscle connection, here’s the thing about baking, I love it and it’s meditative for me. I feel the weight of life dissipate as I bake. ☺️Now that’s good for my mental health but these cookies.. they are not good for physical health. 🙈LOL! Fat-boy sweet potato w Date-balsamic glaze 🤤
so I recently got the cookbook for “How Not to Die” - book by dr.gregor, & I’m in love with it. Decided to try out this stuffed sweet potato recipe & it was SO GOOD & HEALTHY (crazy right)
Glaze: Balsamic vinegar mixed w dates. Blend them together & heat on stove top until thickened. I also added mushrooms to the glaze bc I’m in actual love w them...**dates are an amazing healthy sweetener**
Potate: this part was a pain in the ass cause I got a literal huge-ass sweet potato & it took forevvver to bake, but yea get a normal size one & bake it for about an hour-ish. Take it out & cut it in half & scoop the middle out. Mash it & add green onions, throw that back in the over for 15.
Boom done. Just drizzle on that glaze & the recipe called for sliced almonds on top but all I had was diced walnuts so I threw that on:) btw I did only 1 serving for myself so if you want the actual recipe with measurements DM me!
Day 20:: ahh new week tomorrow🙌🏼 today was a rest day so no new picture 😅 but honestly I have been on my feet all day and I litterally just got off them. Meal prepped half our meals for the week tonight.. took 3 hours to do just HALF... finishing the rest up tomorrow and it’s shoulders and bicep and triceps 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 excited for week 4!! Starting off the week with leg day. I’ve already got a big butt, so I’ve been working hard to sculpt and define what I’ve got! I’ve been experimenting with leg exercises and finding ones I really like, which makes me hate leg day quite a bit less. I definitely burn the most calories on leg day! Last week was week 4 of hitting the gym 5 days a week consistently. Here’s to week 5! #gymshark66#legday#slowlybutsurely

My workout today was 2 1/2 hours of dancing my heart out! I love experiencing new things and meeting new genuine people 🌻💛 I am so excited to kick butt this week!! We are on day 20/66 we got this!

If u make goals then you have something to work for. You have something to stay motivated for! You will go to the gym and you will eat everything you need! It makes you feel good ! My goal for the upcoming months is to gain more muscles 💪🏼 Im working really hard for it because I want to achieve my goal!
📃Use a diet plan and meal prep
Using a diet plan is way easier than thinking about what you’re going to eat that day. When you know what to eat it’s easy. If you dont know, you can buy a diet plan or buy a guide! There are a lots of guides which are effective ! @hannaoeberg@krissycela have guides ! I would def recommend them. When you know what to eat, meal prep is the key🔑! Your food is already done and you can take it out of the fridge whenever you want and take it with you! To class or work! It cost 1hr-2hr of your time and you have your food prepped for the whole week! 🗓
🏋🏽♀Use an exercise plan
Make sure you know what you’re going to train each day. Write it down and write down the exercises🖊! You can take it with you so you know what you need to do in the gym. It makes you feel comfortable and you can do all the exercises right away. If you not familiair with exercises I would def recommend a guide like I’ve said before !
Sometimes its hard to stay motivated and going to the gym each time. For me also.. sometimes I dont have the energy or dont feel well but going to the gym will help you! Make it a routine and not a thing you have to do. Make it easy for yourself and it goes automatically! Have fun and enjoy your healthy lifestyle!
