Training abs during a bulk?
Tbh over the last three months I’ve kinda neglected training abs, a sad fact of bulking is they slowly disappear out of sight and for me out of mind too... ideally I’d be adding 5 sets of any abs exercise onto the end of a workout once or twice a week, but I train in the mornings before work so quite often time doesn’t allow for it as I’m prioritising other exercises that add mass... however, come March they’ll have a regular slot in my program again 🔪 -

Finally feeling like myself again after being so so sick this past week and words cannot describe how good it feels to be getting back into the gym 🙌👏⠀
▪️Turned out my body needed the break more than I knew; i’m feeling stronger and happier now that i’m back and i’ve realized that I reached a point where I did not push myself as hard as I could have in every workout ⠀
▪️I’m really focusing on pushing myself in the gym until my muscles are truly done for the day because it’s time to get back on track, make gains, and feel good again🤗💪💪⠀
▪️Filming IG videos can really impact my workouts (this is something I don’t always realize but I have a great support system that reminds me when i’m focusing more on filming for you guys than enjoying the process myself) so I’d love to gain a better balance with filming. Since I am now posting informative videos on things such as workout types, supplements, etc. 2x a week I wont be filming as many of my workouts which will help and when I do film I’m going to hold off until my third or fourth set so I have a few sets to just focus on the weights rather than how the camera angle is first ☺️☺️⠀
▪️The reason I am telling you all of this is because I absolutely love starting each week with a purpose and some goals and maybe reading this will make you realize you could chat less between sets or , you havent been to the gym in a few days and you said you would go, or maybe it will just get you to push yourself that 5% harder. Either way I hope you all got something out of things and enter this week with a clear goal in mind 💕💕⠀
