Snowflake would like to thank everyone who has been asking how she is. 🐹
Update:After a trip to the vet, Snowflake had lost a pound 😥 and we found out she has a stone/ tumor in her bladder. But with medicine and love & hugs from Mom & Dad Snowflake is feeling better. She has gained weight and back to her happy self. Snowflake is a 5 year old elder piggy. As long as she keeps eating, drinking and being herself, we are happy. Thanks to all our piggy friends ❤️ ❤️😊☺️☺️ #guineapigs#guineapiglove#snowflake#guineapigsofinstagram
Hi friends, Tilly here! 🐹
So mummy says we're very lucky as we got sent this super cute guinea pig cushion from @guineagoods 🤗🎉
Mummy says she loves the beautiful simplistic design and she wanted me to pose in front of it because apparently I'm adorable! 😇
I've been with the big girls for a couple of weeks now and I've made lots and lots of friends!
I'm still a little nervous about whether I can trust mummy and daddy trying to give me treats but when I see the big piggies go up and eat from their hands then I usually follow them and do it too because one day I want to be as big and strong as them 🐹
I'm always interested in what veggies the others are eating in the mornings so instead of picking my own veggies out of the bowls, I try to join in by eating veggies that the others have hanging out of their mouths or I steal it when they accidentally drop it on the floor... It's like a fun game! 😊
I love zooming around the cage as much as possible and every so often I run head first into one of the other piggies and scare them. I always see mummy laughing when I do it 😊
I'm starting to grow lots already and have gained 150g since being with the big pigs ❤
I hope everyone has had a Monday and that your Tuesday goes okay 😊

Thank you so much!!!
For #guineapigs I almost always recommend a Midwest of C&C cages, but sometimes exceptions are made. These two have a very serious bond, to the point of severe separation anxiety. So when we brought them home I didn’t think it smart to add them to my other males. They’re much smaller, and I wasn’t sure it’d go over well with how attached they are to each other. So I have the ferret nation a shot. It still meets the 8sq ft minimum, and I keep the upper level low to prevent falls. They seem to really love it. I see them running around all the time
Let me preface this by saying I don’t eat this well everyday...I wish my paycheck allowed me to lol ———- Lunch: strawberries, bananas, and chickpeas —- Dinner: peppercorn steak filet, asparagus, and potatoes ——Dessert: farm cookies!!! (these babies r packed with oats, flax seed, coconut, raisins, and pecans)
Also took updates pics of all the #guineapigs recently. They’re valentine themed, but that was the day Bennie passed away, so wasn’t too keen on pics at the time. But I figured now’s ok to post them, especially since it’s Bennies last ‘profile’ pic
Freshly trimmed butts 🐹🐹
We’ve heard how some of you can have cage cleans once every 4-7days, and your cages won’t smell much! We’re living in ☀️ Sunny Singapore, which is hot and humid all year round. Even with full cage cleaning *twice* a day, matting occurs easily for Barley. The humidity just amplifies everything. That’s the reason why the boys have their butts trimmed regularly; so as to prevent matting between their balls and legs, helps to keep them clean and dry, prevents bacteria and infection built up, and reduces the amount of baths required. They get butt trims and regular baths about once every 2 months. As to why they’re trimmed that short.. Well, their fur grows out really fast! Shorter cuts just make it last longer. 🙂 Thank you for reading. 🙂
#throwback to Brownie’s first cut 2 years ago.. which obviously didn’t turn out as a bowl cut 😂🤭 That yellowish brownish pig on the left is baby Barley. His colour faded as he grew, no idea why 🤷🏻♀️ The blob of black fur on the right is Ben!
