First time back at the gym in almost a month! I’ve healed from the two colds I caught and my cough is totally gone. Took it relatively easy today (walked at a 3.5 speed for 60 minutes, while watching BROADCHURCH on Netflix) so I don’t exhaust my body. And just between you and me, I wiped down my treadmill like crazy (since I think I caught my first cold at the gym - why do people come when they’re sick? 🤬 Why don’t people wipe down their machines?! #germaphobe 🙋🏻♀️).

Seven days until start my Obstacles Course Race season at the Chino Hills with @spartan Race.
It’s hard to believe that time went fast since last year I start my season with Spartan Race to focus on fourth Trifecta for my goals. I have completed an Age Group three times, which it was great challenge experience for me.
I have been thinking a lot about my performance at the OCR that compared as my first time in 2015. I learned so much about nutrition, training and find uncomfortable workout to build me strong like as Spartan.
I haven’t taking any rest through my off season since I’m focus more on training on what my weakness that I failed with an obstacles at any OCR events.
I’m still proud of myself for what I have push harder everyday to be success at obstacles course race. I’m so ready to be crush on the course.

How many of you workout because it is simply therapeutic to feel your muscles burn and the kick up of the endorphins is exhilarating?! Trust me I totally get it! Many times the gym is where we can unleash the beasts within setting ourselves up for a better day ahead, even when we are given every excuse to not!
It comes down to HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?!.

That choice is ours, and ours alone. When we pair the right nutrition with exercise it’s a perfect matchup! We can exercise ourselves to death and not see the results we want, trust me I WAS that girl! I tried to outrun my fork, and learned a very real lesson that that’s not possible! We can decide to do what we need to do, or we can live in regret. We can give ourselves a pity party or we can decide in the competition of Me vs. Me, who will come out victorious! So when you are feeling down and out, get up and use that to drive your motivation! 🔥💥🔥💥
