A cropped image of my painting ‘Communication’ that was featured in the show last fall. I’ve always been interested in the psychology of personal relationships and why we have this instinct to socialize with others. My earlier works focused on how negative relationships help in the creation of our personal identities. Soon after I happened upon an urban legend about the string of fate, which basically explains about an invisible string attaching you to your soulmate. I took it a step further with having the string of fate connect us to every person we’ve met along the way. No matter how small the interaction, it has had some sort of impact on your life. This is only a short snippet of what has gone into the body of work I recently completed and I’m sure that journey is not yet over. #jennoxfordart#communication#watercolor#koiwatercolor#birds#butterfly#floral
