Deep in the heart of Texas,
The prairie sky is wide and high,
Deep in the heart of Texas.
The cowboys cry, "Ki-yip-pee-yi, "
Take advantage of the moment despite the circumstances.
Aprovechando el momento apesar de la circumstancia! 💔
It’s challenging and trying.
It kind of makes you lose a little hope in life, the moment you find they have passed.
You lose faith in spirituality and the fact that life is supposed to “take care of you” that “everything happens for a reason”.
It is hard to talk about. When someone you love is taken from you oh too soon.
It takes time to heal. The healing comes and goes. The grieving comes and goes. The pain comes and goes.
The thought of their physical body here is hard to bear with.
There is another side to it, or at least we can hope there is.
There is more life. There is more togetherness, in that the life of one can bring so many together.
There is life after them. When we continue to share their story.
Their dream and passions, memories with them, far and near. Recent and past. They are all still real.
Still tangible in our minds. At any moment, we can recall to them. Keep them alive. And in that way, the person, is ultimately still alive too.

Today was our first family outing as a party of three. It was pretty much perfect. Well, except for the last 20 mins of the car ride home where the tiny human in the back was OVER IT. .
The husband said, Pull over! The wife said, That’s dumb. We’re almost home. The baby said, Wah, wah, wah.... all the way home.
