Is it just me or January feels more like a free trial month?
Two Colorado related blog posts are up on the blog (link in bio). So, if you are still making a wanderlist for this year, head over to the blog to know why Denver is a must visit ✈️
Even though I travel a lot, it’s always hard for me to commit to a place and go for it. I recently purchased a bunch of flights. It was a scary decision, but one I never regret once it’s done. Here’s to a new year, new me 🥂😝✈️ what are your travel plans this year?
I can’t be the photographer for everybody. But I’ll tell you. The clients I have had, and the clients I’ll be having this year... are the kindest people. They have fun and they trust me. They laugh at my ridiculous antics when I get excited over a pic I just snapped. They understand how anal I am about veils looking PERFECT. They’re adventurous when I pitch a wild idea to them because I knowwww it’ll photograph beautifully. They’re sentimental and sooo in love when filling out their blogs and answering all my sappy questions. They understand that i AM extra sappy hahaha and a hopeless romantic. I really really really wanna hear your love stories 💕 They do sometimes get a little nervous and stressed out, but that’s okay, we all do. And it’s nothing a funny joke or a mimosa can’t fix. 🥂They’re not always cryers, but some are... and I can appreciate a good cryer. Emotional fuels me 🤣 .
They’re really just every day, “normal” people, who want to feel completely and utterly special during this really important time in their life, and I’m here to make them feel that in EVERY way that i can. I appreciate you guys so much. I’ll always always always preach gratitude because there’s honestly not a weekend that goes by, where I don’t feel so thankful for what I’m doing in life. I always feel HONORED that I get to freeze time for your wedding day and give you pictures to have for the rest of your life. .
So thank you for being you. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for smiling with me. And thank you for choosing me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cheers to you 🥂

Get lost in the possibility of what waits for you at the edge of your comfort zone
What's the best thing that's happened to you so far this year? And go..
Another person instrumental to me finding stuff on the BI is @samsventures_. I paid her back for “Narnia” with this gem that took me over a year to find. We haven’t always seen things eye to eye, but she always has a smile to greet me; I hope she can forgive me. 😉🤙🏽

Another shot from an incredible sunset last year. I’ve shared 3 or 4 different shots from this one night. The sunset colors partied for quite awhile after the sun had set.

Some days are a lot harder than others. I think when you work in healthcare sometimes it’s difficult to express to someone how hard of a day you’re having. How difficult a case is. Just communicating in general can be tough. I’ve been doing this for 7 years and more often than not, I have to be the one in a conversation that says “Sorry, I’m having/or I had a hard day.. I’m not doing a good job communicating” I think thats because when you take care of people there’s so much responsibility it can take a toll on your mind and heart. It takes a long workout and some patience with myself, and my people, to get back on track... To get my mind straight. I’m grateful for the opportunity and blessing to always be challenged professionally. I’m grateful for all of you that are here at the end of long surgery days❤️ #reconstructivesurgery#thefutureisfemale

2018 was an unforgettable year filled with lasting memories & never ending adventures! From soaking in Miette Hot Springs to riding the Pipe Mountain Coaster, hiking the Utopia pass along an ewe & her lamb to chasing waterfalls & sunsets. From two trips home surrounded by my favourite people, to many BC trips exploring new places (Whistler & Fernie) and enjoying my all time faves (Nelson, Radium, & Shuswap). From relaxing beach days, kayaking, paddle boarding to exploring new fishing holes, stalking horses & chilly snowboarding adventures. It’s hard to pin point my favourite but if I had to pick, it’s got to be this place .. Harrison Hot Springs was so incredibly magical, I can’t wait to go back. Here’s to more exciting adventures in 2019! Happy New Year Lovelies 💕
The Tiki Palace party mansion was built in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1972 by strip-club tycoon Bully Hull. A Playboy bunny shaped swimming pool just off the main entrance is the focus of the 5,600 sq foot 3-bedroom mansion.
The Tiki Palace mansion fell into disrepair when its owner was nicked for income tax evasion. He was later convicted of hiring an assassin to kill his wife's lover, a crime which landed him a 20-year prison sentence.
Recently the mansion has been ravaged by vandals who have smashed its interior which had remained almost intact since Tiki Palace would host parties in the 70's and 80's.
