“LONDON FOG” ... Can’t get through a morning without this favorite drink. Organic chai tea topped with foamy organic almond milk and a decorative swirl of maple syrup. In a recent trip to a super cool cafe in Camden, Maine this same drink made with Earl Gray was called the “London Fog.”
Lunch today was noshing on leftovers from last night’s football playoff game. When it comes to watching sports, I am totally just #hereforthesnacks, but I married a #Patriots fan, and it’s fun get in on the excitement!
I used to have a decent amount of guilt over my love of chicken fingers. I wouldn’t order them at restaurants, buy then at the grocery store and rarely made them at home. Because of #dietculture, if something was breaded, it was automatically less #healthy, even if it was homemade. Like...what?! 🙄
But the thing is, that simply is not true. Food has no moral value AND it can provide nourishment even if is fried, breaded, or “processed”. Nutrition is not all or nothing and there is room for all kinds of food.
And FYI you haven’t had them in a while, chicken fingers are delish, especially for dipping (like BBQ sauce mixed w honey mustard👌💯🤤). So are ripple chips and spinach & artichoke dip for that matter!
What is a food rule or piece of diet culture that you’re working on or have overcome?

Project day 21- wow that's 3 weeks already into the project, I hope you keep practicing minimum of 10 minutes a day , and If you didn't start yet or seeing this project first time now - its ok you can start now , read few posts before about the body scanning practice and start ( every day I make one post for the project , usually it's in the let corner one under one all the posts 💕) . In the post I did today I mentioned few questions you should ask yourself, like a program you get into your mind , kinda like skill you learn to do automatically. Read this post and come back here , now I'll give an example with unpleasant situation- 1) someone told you that you are rude (a friend or family member) 2) it makes you feel so hurt , disappointed , like you didn't expect this to happen and angry about this person for being like this , you feel pressure in your chest , your blood running fast and your head feels heavy and stressed , you a bit shake and can't calm yourself down .. ( physical and emotional stress and disappoinment ) 3) you stopped for one second , you understand that the other side triggered you to feel bad , the situation with all the stress of the day made you feel and think all this pain and negativity , so you choose better way to deal with it, like having tea , take a bath , practice breaths for few minutes ... 💕💕 Today Continue body scanning, stay with all the feelings , let everything be and continue from part to part , all body ... The fact you practiced means you made it , don't expect from it to make you feel good always, like I said 💕 love you (tomorrow I'll explain more )
