As much as I hate to say it...
Yesterday was a struggle. Stress piled high on my shoulders. So you know what I did, I stepped outside and cried. It's been a long time since I had a a moment where I just needed to cry. I cried, alone, quietly, openly, and honestly.
We all have those moments, those days we we are are completely broken inside from all of the things that come at us at once.
But here's the thing after I had that cry, I went inside made a warm glass of tea and watched silly YouTube videos. I'm okay now, and I was okay then. I have no shame in taking a break for myself and doing what I need to do to find a center for the day.
Stress is what you make it. I decided to a breather, collect my thoughts and take care of myself before continuing on with the things that are causing stress.
Life is full of bad moments but they dont last long. For every bad moment I have countless great ones that dismiss the bad ones.
For the days that your feeling stressed beyond your capabilites, cry, breathe, make a glass tea or coffee or wine, or whatever calms you take a bath or shower, wear cozy socks, wrap up in a blanket, snuggle with the babies.
Do whatever you need to do to comfort your soul, the stress can be handled but you are the priority. Your mental and emotional health are priority.
