What better way to spend your time indoors than in the kitchen baking? Maybe that’s just me.🙈
I made this delicious banana and chocolate chip loaf. 🍌 This turned out super moist and flavorful thanks to 3 whole ripe bananas! The addition of chocolate chips makes it extra tasty in my opinion but you could substitute with walnuts/ pecans or leave it plain if you prefer.
Everyone around me seems to be on a diet lately so I don’t think I will be sharing this loaf. Remember that just because it’s a new year or you have a vacation coming up doesn’t mean you have to restrict, over exercise, or begin a new diet.
Dieting is not sustainable and takes away the pleasure from eating. Trust me - your body won’t want banana bread at every meal if you give it permission!
When sweets or so called “bad foods” are not off limits, the overwhelming desire to eat the whole loaf goes away. Then you can mindfully enjoy your piece and move on. No longer will your thoughts be occupied by the banana bread since you know you can have another slice if you feel like it.

How to fight cravings?
1. Never food shop hungry
2. Always eat before going into town.. temptation is everywhere
3. Drinks plenty of water
4. Carry healthy Snacks in your bag
6. Don’t restrict yourself too much.. you will binge
7. Treat yourself every now and again (not on a daily basis)
8. Find a healthier alternative to what you are craving.
9. Get plenty of sleep
10. Have a routine (that doesn’t include naughty snacks)
