One customer of mine exclaimed 'pink chicken' when she saw our galah tote! it did make me smile 😆 Personally I'm always thinking of galahs being Australian pigeons. And so much cuter for it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Some good news today, I’ve been chosen as a featured artist on @bluethumbart 🥰 which is very exciting! Please Head to the link in my bio and follow my Bluethumb profile 🙏🏼 you can see a collection of my recent works for sale including the just completed “Flappy” - the full sized 60 x 90 cm version.
Diptych artworks are usually intended to be displayed together, traditionally attached with a hinge. The subject matter is therefore related somehow - this is my loose interpretation of things anyway.
These, along with many more originals will be up for sale tomorrow! I only hold a sale like this once a year (and may not again) where I will be offering 40% off the total cost when you buy two or more! (Code: SAVE40) This will allow you to own original artwork at a very affordable price, as I intend to clear space for new things to come. There will be lots of goodies up for grabs... I figure they are better off being displayed and enjoyed as I sadly cannot house them all!! 🏡👩🏻🎨 .

Cocky wants a...drink of water! Two lovely cockatoos were taking advantage of a slowly dripping tap in the continuing hot weather every which way they could: hanging upside down from the tap itself, sitting on the grass and stretching up, reaching in from the side and my favourite, sticking their entire (totally weird and meaty looking) tongue inside the actual tap 😂 Sorry birds, but your tongue is the stuff of nightmares - it looks like a little crooked finger trying to tempt you inside 😂😳 Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos are seriously the clowns of the bird world. Good lord they make a mess of our yard though, snapping off branches with their incredibly strong beaks and dropping half eaten passionfruit (which we don't grow so they fly them in 😂) and macadamia nuts everywhere! I've got a soft spot for all the cheeky critters of the world, so it's super hard not to love them.
Don't forget to put out small shallow plates and small bowls of water for the local critters on those hot days. And add in a rock or a stick to help any little ones that can't reach the bottom, and can't swim, to be able to get in and out safely 🙏
