Wishing I was as shredded as this bowl of pesto pasta 😂💪 I'm not sure what went wrong but these ziti noodles absolutely FELL APART as I was mixing them in with the rest of the ingredients. I even made sure to boil them for less time than it said on that package directions so I'm lowkey a little upset but at least they still tasted good 🙃 that's currently how my Friday is going haha - hoping you all have a stellar weekend!! ❤ #resolvetoeatmorepasta

For the past few months I’ve had a bit of a change in my workout routine. I was finding it harder and harder to find time to fit programmed workouts in. Although I was still working out a lot, nothing was structured. A spin class here and there, the odd kettlebell workout, some triathlon training and the odd programmed strength workout.
Something needed to change. I wanted more structure to my workouts, but with my busy life I wasn’t really able to make it to the gym more than I already was.
I have a saying- “if you don’t like something, change it”
So that’s what I did.
I knew I couldn’t commit more time in the gym, so I brought the gym to my home. I built a little workout area in my spare bedroom with about 60 square feet of open space. @liftmovefuel made me an at home workout program specific to my equipment and my needs. Using the @trainerize software makes it easy to track and see my progress.
I’ve been doing this for the past 3 months, and it’s been a great experience so far.
I can workout when I have the time, on my own schedule.
There are no excuses with LMF. It’s that simple. .
Strong is the new Skinny and I’m so glad it is. Strong isn’t about how much you can lifts or how big your muscles are. Strong is about showing up for yourself and improving your weakness and it’s about having the courage to show up for yourself even when your being pulled in 100 different directions. To all my Strong Babes this is my Flex Friday 💪🏼 Now show me yours!!!
This journey is not about perfection.
This journey is not about extremes. .
This journey is not about deprivation.
This journey is about consistency. Small steps, every day.👟
This journey is about balance. Developing healthy habits but still indulging when I choose.🍷
This journey is about treating my body with respect. Fueling it with real food. Exercising to make it strong and healthy.💪
And, most importantly, this journey is about learning to love myself as I am. Because it is not our body, our weight, or our size that determines our value.💗
On this journey, I’ve failed. I’ve fallen off track. But I chose progress over perfection and just KEPT GOING.
So - if you’ve made a mistake, if you feel so far off track that you feel like giving up - Just. Keep. Going. Remember why you started. Get rid of the quest for perfection, that will only make you feel like you’re failing. And feel PROUD because TRYING is always 💯better than QUITTING.

Tilapia fillet and couscous for dinner! 🐟 You can add or remove spices to achieve preferred taste. I added mayonnaise to give the tilapia a savory flavor, it's optional and can be substituted with olive oil. 🌹

One destination I’ve always wanted to visit is Santorini Greece but at the moment this colorful and refreshing Greek Salad for lunch is as close as I’m going to get! Whether it’s the salty feta, tangy dressing or the freshness of the veggies there is something about a good Greek salad that always hits the spot. I’m also glad it’s Friday and looking forward to the long weekend with the family. I hope you’re enjoying your day!
Happy Friday! Day 12 of Whole30, really starting to feel that so called “tiger’s blood” kick in the past week! Cravings are gone and feeling tons of energy so far!
Pasture raised egg scramble made with @vitalfarms eggs, @fourthandheart salted ghee, @organicgirl spinach, @justspices savory blend, sea salt, red pepper plus a side of avocado and mixed berries topped with @salbachia chia seeds for a little extra fiber, fat + protein
I’ll be sharing in more detail why I’m trying out Whole30 as well as how I feel on my stories later today - so stay tuned!
Buckwheat soba noodles with sesame sauce ! The sauce is soooo so good and it’s made with only 3 ingredients ! :
-1/4 cup toasted sesame oil
-juice of 1 lime ( about 2.5 tbsp )
-2.5 tbsp coconut aminos
I topped the noodles with chopped green onion, red bell pepper, cucumber and sesame seeds.
Despite the name, buckwheat doesn’t come from wheat. It’s actually a seed that comes from the rhubarb family. Make sure when you buy the noodles that the ingredients are 100% buckwheat because some of them are made with wheat .

Very convenient that my apartment is a 5 min walk from the library.. Makes it incredibly easy to pause studying for a quick mac & cheese break🤑
