I’ve always had the dream to travel the world to meet new people, learn different cultures, and to see more of God’s beauty. Now that I’m trying to figure out what I want to study, which I’m still not sure because I want to study a million things, I want to head towards culinary arts for now and focus on becoming an executive chef. I want to travel the world by just being able to cook and share with others around the world what it is to live for Christ. This is a dream I still have today, I don’t know if it’ll be the same tomorrow or if I’ll even study and become a chef. I do still want to be able to spread the Gospel. For now I say this to you, don’t let anyone at all make you think you’re not amazing because you are. You’re actually far more than that. You’re extraordinary and the reason you’re here is because God created you to become a warrior. A warrior of Christ. And let me tell you, it’s an awesome feeling being a warrior. We do make mistakes and we stumble, but he won’t let you fall. Just believe and make your dreams become a reality.
This is my wedding band - a series of commitments to myself and another.
Well, obviously it’s not a ring, just slightly more permanent 😳
There is symbolism in those symbols - all of which act as a reminder to me, for me, of my commitments.
This isn’t a post to discuss the tattoo, I’ve done that before. I’ve spoken about men and commitment before too, and I want to use this as a reminder to the men reading to figure out what you want, what you have to do to be you and become who you can become, and make the commitments necessary for that to happen.
Then honour those commitments. Do that consistently and you’ll start to see the value in who you are.
You’ll see evidence of someone who has integrity, who can count on himself and others can count on.
You’ll start to change whatever shitty dialogue you have running that beats you down, tells you “you should do and be better”, that you need to achieve to be happy, successful, and worthy... etc.
Change your commitments and your approach to them (while remaining flexible enough to shift if it no longer serves you) and you can change your life.
FYI @nardianorman has one too, slightly different.
Another shot from @iamjaredyeoward
where do you want to travel to?? 🤔
ok after a crazy, long 9 weeks in the MTC i finally arrived in turkey. & turns out this mission is not like any other mission...
we did not wear nametags
we wore colored shirts, no ties
we could not talk abt religion openly
we could not carry a book of mormon
no knocking on doors
AND had to learn one of the hardest languages!!
but despite all of this, i absolutely loved every moment of being in this country. i fell in love with the people, the food, the culture and everything. i gained a strong testimony that God knows us personally. he sends us where we need to be in order to find those people that we can help! he loves us all sooo much,
never forget that!

☁️☁️🧞♂️☁️☁️ TALK! Laugh a little homie, smile more, take time to embrace your inner weirdo. Too many fitness people out here posting “perfect” pictures all the time. A collage of FAKENESS. A collage of fantasy. Not me. If I’m going to open my life up to thousands of people, you best believe I won’t hold back my inner weirdo. And to be quite honest, the world needs a little more weird. A little more laughter. A little more smile. And a lot more REAL. GENIE OUT!
Just finished my 1:41 AM workout ( push legs and core)
if you have a dream to chase. You have to be willing to be weird amongst others. And be able to do what others wont... 💯
