How’s the pump on Joel 👌
What a day this was. I started at 7am with a beach shoot, then straight to the @icnqld World Titles for a 9am start to capture candid backstage shots of all the insane competitors.
It’s now roughly 8pm and I’m off straight to HYO to shoot the one and only Joel Ramintas before his flight home the next morning. Sometimes you got to put in that little bit extra to make things work.
All up I was in for about 15-16 hrs and still ended up going through a few photos when I got home.

Self doubt is a killer, it will end all goals before they start.
You’ve set out goals, you’ve said today I will start but that journey seems so long, so big and so far away.
How am I going to stay focused for so long? How am I realistically going to achieve my goal? All questions even the most successful ask themselves.
I ask myself the same questions, daily.
How do you achieve the goal? Don’t see the goal as 1 goal, see stepping stones that lead to a result. Challenge each stone along the way and conquer while moving on to the next.
Why? Because long term goals are set to see if your short term goals are of value to you.
Just like lifting weight, some days you’ll fly past a set goal with little effort and other days you’ll have attempted the weight for so long.
Why does this happen? Along side good programming... it takes a split second for you to believe in your own capabilities.

My first love in sports and fitness will always be the boxing gym, I was fortunate enough to grow up around the sport and see some of the best boxers in UK both amateur and pro trust and listen to my dad. I watched these guys and aspired to be like them, it created a fire in me to always want to be an athlete. If you want to loose weight, get fit, learn to look after yourself and a be a part of a family, then go and join your local boxing gym, they'll welcome you in 100%. You won't look back.

Being a good trainer is more than just helping someone workout, I see it as more of a friendship and being able to support and help each client accomplish whatever their goals might be. Started the day off right 💪💪 (almost slept in though 😅)
Woke up this morning at 4:05am and thought “ehhh... 30min more sleep would be nice..” BUT already told my friend @rahduhlee that I’d meet him there at 5am 🙄 so no extra snoozing for me... (I am FAR from perfect with my 4am wake ups 😂)
This reminded me of how accountability can be so valuable, because I told Rahdley I was going to meet him at the gym, I had to stick to that goal no matter my excuses 🙌 this is one of the reasons my clients are successful with their goals, telling someone your goals (accountability) goes a long way ☝️ Find a gym buddy (or a coach 🤓) because that relationship/accountability will push you both to crushing your goals 📈 ...and showing up on time 👀
The pump was insane today, supersets of 5x17 with extensions, curls, and lateral raises 🙌 ...plus some @pescience High Volume for that added swell 💪💪
