The beauty is in the details!
After spending an hour deciding on a color palette, patiently mixing color and finally adding the pouring medium, I literally did a happy dance when I saw the final result.
Here is what I’ve learned so far in this fluid painting journey: • Patience - I’m a pretty impatient person, and my hubby can attest to this. When I started fluid painting, I thought it would be easy, but after wasting time and materials, I’ve learned to take my time to plan and enjoy the results. • Quality does make a difference - when I started painting, I started with the most inexpensive paints, canvases, etc., and it only led to frustration. I decided to invest into quality supplies to only be scared to “mess things up” and waste money. Then I decided to invest into classes from artists I looked up to and learn as much as possible. It has made a huge difference in how I paint because now i don’t have the fear to screw things up and waste quality supplies. • Education - I’m constantly trying to learn. Im taking classes whenever possible, reading and watching videos and actually trying out new techniques. • And finally, acceptance - I have learned that as long as this journey makes me happy, I feel free to create without worrying about if my art is “good enough”
What have you guys learned in your personal journey? .
